Who we are
The Child Growth Foundation is an organisation with 45 years of specialist experience supporting parents and carers of children with a suspected or diagnosed growth condition who face multiple and complex disadvantages and reduced life chances. Founded in 1977, by the families of six children with growth conditions who were patients at London’s Institute of Child Health, today, we support over 500 families each year, and our Board of Trustees is made up of people who have experienced, firsthand, the impact of child growth conditions. The CGF provides information and support to parents, families, and those directly affected by growth conditions. It also funds research and is committed to raising awareness and understanding of these conditions and the impact they have on the lives of those living with them.
