Who we are
Children of the Nations is a Christian ministry dedicated to raising children out of poverty and hopelessness so they can become leaders who transform their nations.
We specialize in caring for orphans and vulnerable children from some of the most desperate backgrounds in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda, Haiti and the Dominican Republics. We emphasize caring for the whole child--physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually--not just providing temporary relief. Our programmes are built to be sustainable for the long term, and are led by local, in-country staff members who understand the culture and the children.
Providing this level of care for thousands of children requires a movement of people across the globe. Children of the Nations – UK and Ireland was launched in Belfast in 2012. Since that time, our growing group of supporters have been incredibly faithful in sharing their talents and resources with the children we serve together.
