About us
Who we are
The Daisy Programme started in 2015 and has grown from strength to strength during this time. We provide an holistic, trauma informed approach in our work and are passionate about making a difference to those whose lives has been impacted by Domestic Abuse.
In 2019 we moved into premises in Watton, Norfolk and this has allowed us to expand and grow the services that we offer.
We provide psycho-educational programmes in the form of the Freedom Programme which looks at perpetrator patterns of behaviours and how to learn to be aware of warning signs in relationships. We also provide a Confidence Course which runs for 8 weeks which works to re-build confidence and self esteem. Our support groups also run to support clients in addition to our courses.
We also provide counselling to clients who would benefit from one to one support alongside activities such as The Choir of Hope, Therapeutic Writing, Art Group, Book Club and Shared lunches.
We work in a non-judgemental way and the kettle is always on in our hub for clients who are struggling.
Our volunteers (75%) who are ex-service users help us to shape our service and with lived experience are vital in making clients feel supported and listened to.
A few months ago before meeting Daisy and the fantastic support, courses and counselling I have been receiving through them I would never have been able to take the steps I did face the situation as I have. I wouldn’t have had someone to turn to for help and calm my fears. I wouldn’t have started to find the strength to begin to take some control back to help my children and myself to move forward with our lives. I am immensely grateful for all that Daisy have done for me and in turn for my children and continue to do. They are a lifeline not just for me but also for many others.
Thank you Daisy
