Who we are
Dingley's Promise is a unique organisation supporting 150 children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) every year, using specialist early intervention to build wider inclusion. We do this through activities for children in our early years centres, support for families and training for mainstream nurseries to help them be more inclusive.
Our vision is the best start for every child, and our families describe our services as life-changing. We reach around 150 children directly every year in Berkshire, and last year launched our national accredited training offer, which we are now growing to help as many early years practitioners as possible have access to quality training in inclusive practice.
Our teams in Centres work directly with the children and their families, while our management team support this work by fundraising, lobbying, promoting, evaluating and strategising. Working in our management team is both flexible and exciting, and we enjoy working with people who are committed and motivated, and able to innovate and drive development and change. We are committed to staff wellbeing, pay the Real Living Wage to all our staff, and have signed up to the Time to Change pledge, recognising the importance of wellbeing and good mental health among our teams.
