Who we are

At EachOther, we believe the principles of human rights are a positive thing for the world and deserve to be given a second thought. People have picked sides, minds are closed and not enough of us consider the bigger picture anymore. We’re here to try and change that, to inspire people to think again about human rights. To open their minds to another point of view, switch themselves on to something new, or reremember what human rights really stand for.

We will illustrate this with stories from real people and real cases to inspire and provoke. We know these individual narratives always connect, to one another and to the broader principles and beliefs of human rights. With every story we tell, it’s our job to enlighten people and to draw the line to the bigger picture. To show how that person’s experience relates to others. Our aim is to show how human rights are already put to work to protect people and how the principles of human rights are a positive thing in a huge range of ways.

We do it because underneath all the division, the tension and the disagreement we believe that there is more that connects us than divides us. And we know that it’s exactly this sentiment that underpins the principles of human rights laws.
