Who we are

EMERGENCY provides free, high-quality healthcare to victims of war, poverty and landmines, alongside building hospitals, training local medical staff, and conducting search-and-rescue operations in the Mediterranean Sea. Founded in 1994, EMERGENCY has treated over 12 million people in 20 different countries and currently operates in Afghanistan, Eritrea, Iraq, Italy, Moldova, Sierra Leone, Sudan, and Uganda.

EMERGENCY UK is an affiliate of EMERGENCY. EMERGENCY UK supports EMERGENCY through advocacy, fundraising, and recruitment of medical staff.
