Emmaus Greenwich (pronounced em-MAY-us) is a homelessness charity with a difference. We don’t just give people a bed for the night; we offer a home, meaningful work and a sense of belonging. We currently provide a home and meaningful work for up to 35 people who have experienced homelessness and social exclusion.
Work is an integral part of our community life, and the social enterprise side of any Emmaus community helps to generate the income that will ultimately make each of them self-sustaining, something every community is working towards.
The main business activity for us is collecting donated furniture and household goods and selling them in our 4 shops in London, and on our eBay page.
