Envision was set up by four young people in 2000 to challenge the stereotype of ‘youth’ as apathetic and disengaged with the issues going on around them. Today Envision’s programme supports 14-19 year olds across Birmingham, Bristol and London. Envision empowers and upskills young people from less-advantaged backgrounds, who are often underrepresented in the world of work, to develop the essential skills and confidence they need to succeed in later life. Working in partnership with schools, we unite young people with local businesses and charities to tackle social issues affecting their community. By supporting them to make a positive change, we empower young people to develop skills beyond their classroom so they can shape their own futures.
