Who we are

Rooted Finance is a pioneering pan-London debt advice and financial inclusion charity, with over 20 years of grassroots delivery. Our mission is to support people facing money challenges to increase their financial resilience and have a healthy standard of living.

Since inception, Rooted Finance has helped over 19,000 Londoners manage corrosive debt, putting them on the path towards financial freedom and resilience and managed over £74.9 million of client debt. 

In addition to our frontline delivery, Rooted Finance plays a strategic role in increasing the visibility of financially excluded Londoners’ and works with key stakeholders to achieve this. 

Our team at Rooted Finance reflects the communities we serve to deliver culturally appropriate services and expert-by-experience values underpin the approach to all our work.
