Who we are
Greater Manchester Moving is GM’s movement for movement working together to positively change the lives of people across Greater Manchester through movement, physical activity, and sport. Our shared mission is to enable active lives for all.
Our shared commitments, priorities and approach are set out in ‘GM Moving in Action’ our strategy for the next decade, 2021-31.
We are one of 42 Active Partnerships; a network across the country who work collaboratively to create the conditions for an active nation and use the power of sport and physical activity to transform lives. We also work with Sport England to support the local implementation of the Uniting the Movement Strategy.
