Guild Care is one of Worthing’s oldest charities, established in 1933, and has a rich and varied history of providing support to some of the town’s most vulnerable people. From opening one of the UK’s first retirement clubs in the 1960’s to our work at the forefront of caring for older people and unpaid carers today through our residential care homes, home care and community outreach, we uniquely offer support to local people at all stages of old age. Our Ashdown Centre provides respite support for the families of children and young people with disabilities. We have recently opened a purpose built, state of the art, dementia care home and wellbeing centre. Our Fundraising Department has an annual fundraising target for Guild Care’s community services (including children's services) and dementia services in the region of £300K-£400K.
