About us
Who we are
We support people and groups to get involved and make a difference in local Buckinghamshire communities.
We do this by offering expert advice and training, helping people to find volunteering opportunities, and helping charities and not for profit groups to get started, be effective and grow. We also have a number of directly delivered community services which focus on supporting those most in need – the elderly, vulnerable and socially isolated.
As an independent charity, we are the Rural Community Council for Buckinghamshire and the parent company of Healthwatch Bucks , an independent local organisation set up by the government to ensure that decision-makers and health and social care services put the experiences of people at the heart of their work.
Community Impact Bucks and Healthwatch Bucks are both here to help improve the lives of people who live in Buckinghamshire:
- Community Impact Bucks inspires, supports and enables voluntary and community action in the county
- Healthwatch Bucks improves health and social care services by listening to you. It makes sure that what you have to say is heard by the people who deliver services and it works with groups whose views are not always being heard.
We work together to make Bucks a better place to live.
