Who we are
Holding On Letting Go (HOLG) provides support for children and young people (CYP), from across Kent and Medway, before, during and after a significant bereavement. Our main activity is the running of bereavement support weekends held throughout the year across Kent. We encourage CYP to explore their feelings and emotions, to build on their memories and to develop coping strategies to enable them to move on in their grief. We also provide appropriate tailored one to one support to CYP in a home or school setting, group work with schools and extra support for parents and carers. HOLG has been providing bereavement support to CYP across Kent and Medway for the more than 20 years and has an established track record in achieving positive outcomes for CYP and families we work with.
