Who we are

Hope for the Future (UK-registered charity 1173547) is a leading specialist in training citizens to work with politicians on climate change.  Our vision is to see politicians of all political persuasions joining together with each other and with communities across the UK to take decisive action on climate change. We have a proven track record of engaging with MPs from across party lines on the issue of climate change. 

Originally founded as a Christian organisation, over the past six years Hope for the Future has been working to equip communities, campaigners and groups across the country to communicate the climate emergency with their local politicians.  We continue to work with churches and Christian charities, but we are non-religious in our commitment to solving the climate crisis through community political engagement. We support anyone from climate campaigners, academics, faith communities, local groups, NGOs and individuals to have their voices heard on climate change.

With offices in Sheffield, Liverpool, and London, we’re a small but fast-growing charity, with a strong vision, supportive working culture and the drive to make an impact. We operate nationally at a grassroots level, linking constituents with their MPs, running training and holding events.

Hope for the Future has a strong collaborative, creative culture where staff are given appropriate levels of support and autonomy in order to thrive in their roles.

As an organisation we are committed to values of inclusion and equality, and seek to work with individuals from all or no faiths, genders and sexualities as well as those who are differently-abled and with neurodiversities, and diverse backgrounds and experiences.
