Who we are
At HS4LC we're passionate about supporting our beneficiaries to overcome the barriers they're facing to leading fulfilled lives. Whether that's by learning new skills or maintaining existing ones we're here to help.
Established in the 1990's in response to a lack of support for individuals leaving long-stey hospitals, we've developed day-services, residential care and more recently education provision for 16-24 year olds with EHCP's. Alongside this, last year we openned our first social enterprise - The Harrogate Chocolate Factory and we'll soon be openning our 2nd enterprise - The Harrogate Chocolate Factory Cafe.
With all this expansion comes the need to recruit staff that align with our caring values and vision and above all, we want people who share our passion and want to join our mission to make the world a better place for people with learning disabilities and autism.
