Who we are

Kingston Charitable Foundation launched as an independent charity in January 2021, following 8 successful years as local community fundraising project, Love Kingston.

In the 2 years since we launched, we have established our Grants Programme at launch and have awarded 70+ grants during this time.

By awarding grants, Kingston Charitable Foundation enables community groups and small charities to continue to deliver much needed services and support.

We are a small dedicated team, with over 30 years' 3rd Sector experience between us, and we work closely with our very supportive Board of Trustees.

All our roles are home based as we have no formal offices, and all our meetings are generally held on Teams and in-person, in Kingston upon Thames, where we have flexible office space offered by our supportive friends in the local business community.

We are delighted to have this opportunity to add to our existing, energtic and ambitious team through the recruiting of team members for our 3 new roles in Grants, Marketing and Development.

• Identify where social needs exist in our area through commissioning, publishing, and utilising the best research available ​
• Provide funds to local support groups that have the expertise to alleviate need, enrich people’s lives and improve their life chances ​
• Inspire and engage with local donors to help build sustainable long-term funds to support our vision ​
• Build sustainable funds to increase the level of immediate and long-term resources available to organisations with charitable purposes across the borough of Kingston upon Thames
