Who we are
Established in 1991, Newlife is now the UK's largest charity funder of children's specialist disability equipment. Newlife Nurses also support thousands of families through our free Nurse manned helpline.
With the support of people just like you, we are making a real difference to children right across the UK.
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and make friends, and is proven to improve your health and wellbeing. We have enjoyable roles available to suit all skill levels and time commitments.
We also offer a variety of work experience placements where you can gain new skills or improve the ones you have. Whether you are interested in retail, administration, warehousing or just want to improve your confidence and CV we have a role to suit you.
Whilst these roles are voluntary, there are many benefits you will enjoy including learning new skills, meeting new people, gaining confidence and having a great time.
Regular volunteers earn discounts to use at our retail stores and we supply personal references to help you gain that next job. You are welcome to volunteer with a friend, a carer or in a group.
