Founded in 2002, Pie Factory Music has been a leading voice in creative youth work in Kent for 20 years. The charity has built a reputation for giving young people across East Kent life-enhancing opportunities, empowering under 25s to influence their own lives positively.

Our mission:
Pie Factory Music exists to provide creative opportunities and a community for young people through youth work, music and creative arts, pastoral support and sector development.
Since our conception as a charity, we have distilled our approach and methodology in order to meet the needs of the young people we exist to support. Our approach combines youth work, music and creative arts and pastoral care. We have seen the impact of embedding these practices to offer holistic support to young people. We currently operate out of Ramsgate Youth Centre where we have built a recording studio, live room, band rehearsal room and multiple rooms for group work. We are currently commissioned by the Local Authority to delivery open-access youth work provision in Thanet and Dover. Our programme provides young people in East Kent a unique opportunity to express themselves, have fun and try new things in a kind and nurturing environment.
