About us
Who we are
At RSPCA Middlesex NW & S HertfordshireOur Aim is to promote kindness and to prevent cruelty to animals by all lawful means.
As a branch of the RSPCA we run independently and as a separately registered charity; this means we are largely responsible for raising our own funds locally to help animals in our area. We raise funds through a variety of channels, the main one being our network of shops. We have been operating in North West London for over 75 years and now cover most of the London Boroughs of Brent, Harrow and Hillingdon (North of the A40), as well as Watford, Rickmansworth, Chorleywood, Bushey, Oxhey, Radlett, Potters Bar, Hatfield, Barnet and St. Albans in South Hertfordshire.
In 2018 the branch worked with almost 1,000 animals, finding new, loving and responsible homes. In addition to our rehoming work we also support over 1000 pet owners each year through financial assistance. This means owned and much loved pets can receive treatment which their owner may be struggling to pay for.
