About SameYou
Launched in May 2019, SameYou’s vision is to facilitate equal access to high quality innovative neurorehabilitation for people recovering from Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI). The charity was founded by actor and activist Emilia Clarke and her business leader mother Jenny.
SameYou’s research and pilot programmes
In the two years since its launch, SameYou has invested in vital research programmes at leading institutions such as Spaulding Rehabilitation, Edinburgh University and London School of Economics. SameYou is also funding a pioneering neurorehabilitation post-graduate programme at Edinburgh University to equip nurses and multi-disciplinary therapists with specialist physical and mental health recovery skills they need to treat ABI patients effectively.
