Who we are
The Abbeyfield (Streatham) Society is a charity which provides supported sheltered accommodation and care for people over 55 years of age. It has been established for over 25 years. Our house is situated in a quiet residential area in the Borough of Lambeth within walking distance of local shops, buses and rail services. The house consists of 6 single occupancy flats and includes mobility standard properties. The daytime housekeeper provides a main meal at lunch time and an evening meal every day. Our helpful staff and volunteers help to make Abbeyfield Streatham a peaceful and friendly environment where residents can remain as independent as possible.
Our House Manager leads the staff team, coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the support we provide to residents, and managing the day-to-day finances. They report to the Board of Trustees who meet monthly.
