About us
Who we are
The China Dialogue Trust, a UK registered charity, promotes communication across barriers of language and culture on the environment and climate change in order to inform, educate and build a global consensus for equitable and constructive solutions to urgent problems. We do this through the production, publication and dissemination of news and analysis across four websites – chinadialogue, Diálogo Chino, India Climate Dialogue and The Third Pole - each with its own thematic and geographic focus and range of publishing languages. chinadialogue also just launched a major new ocean project and publishes a bi-monthly print journal. The Third Pole hosts media workshops throughout South Asia, providing training on data journalism, climate change and transboundary water reporting.
In the coming years these websites will increasingly form the foundation of a global dialogue that offers unique insights into South-South developments and an integrated understanding of China’s global presence to an expanded global readership, along with an enhanced appreciation of the diverse perspectives of China’s partners.
The China Dialogue Trust has an office in the UK and a presence in China, India and Brazil.
