Who we are
WinACC's Mission is to play the pivotal role in Winchester becoming one of the first districts to achieve a net-zero carbon footprint.
Winchester Action on Climate Change works tirelessly to fight climate change across the whole of the Winchester district. Established in 2007, by the late Robert Hutchison, our work has never been more needed.
We have a great volunteer team with a wide range of backgrounds, including many volunteers with distinguished scientific and engineering careers. Almost all our work is performed by our volunteer-led action groups.
2019 was a great year of action for WinACC, and as the climate emergency becomes more urgent, we hope to campaign for bigger changes and trigger new ways of sustainable living to lower our collective carbon footprint in Winchester district.
