Who we are

Yorkshire Children’s Centre (YCC) is a person-centred charity based in Kirklees with a vision of a future where everyone has opportunities for a better life. Since 1974 we have been delivering services across South and West Yorkshire through four themes of activity including Specialist Family Services, Education & Training, Early Intervention & Prevention, and Social Enterprise.

With services ranging from our Independent Inclusion school (Brian Jackson College), Child Contact Interventions, Domestic Abuse Prevention Programmes and Thriving Kirklees partnership through to our Community Connection services and programmes supporting older people and adults at risk; our services enable us to support people with diverse needs across our community.

Our mission to improve wellbeing, provide innovative services and support, build relationships, and live our vision is truly underpinned by our values to be Inclusive, Empowering, Caring, Trusted and Approachable which are embedded in everything we do.
