NHS Providers’ Development programmes team delivered a range of training and development activities for NHS boards and foundation trust governors. The team delivers over 200 events annually. We are looking for a senior development programmes coordinator to take responsibility for the efficient coordination of this work, elements of which are delivered virtually, in-person or hybrid.
In addition, the postholder will have responsibility for the effective line management to some of the team’s programme administrators/assistants.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a busy, high-performing team working across two of NHS Providers’ successful programmes – GovernWell and the Board Development Programme. The individual should have excellent programme coordination skills, the ability to work effectively across multiple projects will be critical to success. The postholder will be an excellent communicator with the ability to liaise with colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally. They must be able to work flexibly, both independently and as part of a team. Along with being analytical and insightful, the postholder will be highly organised with a keen eye for detail. Context and Background
The innovative services that we develop are a critical part of the NSPCC’s fight for every childhood. We transform lives by working directly with some of the most vulnerable children and families. This role will help develop our service offer in respect of preventing and tackling child sexual abuse, with a focus on the ongoing development, coordination and implementation of our secondary education service. This aims to support secondary education settings to be places that foster healthy relationships and keep, young people safe from abuse.
Job purpose
• Scoping, leading and project managing programmes, services and products within the Development and Implementation Team within set timescales and budgets.
• Managing a matrix approach to service development and design, bringing together people, resources, skills and talent from across the organisation to conceptualize, design and create new programmes, services and products
• Working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all new developments are informed and underpinned by evidence, have a theory of change and support the NSPCC in delivering its strategy

Key relationships - Internal
Reporting to the Associate Head of Development with close links to the Head of Development and Implementation, the post holder will work closely with an internal project team, managing workstream leads from digital, comms, content development, schools service, income generation and subject matter experts and have frequent interaction at Director level and other senior stakeholders. They will be in frequent contact with multiple teams and directorates as they operate a matrix style of project development.
Key relationships - External
This role will develop relationships at Director level and other senior stakeholders across a range of external partners including from Education, Children Services, Police, Health Partners and the third sector for the purpose of influencing, learning, collaboration and engagement. They will also work closely with participation and people with lived experience who support service development.
Main duties and responsibilities

· Accountable for end to end delivery of the development and delivery of projects within the D&I team, with a focus on education

Person specification

Job Purpose
The Engagement Lead is an exciting and important role that leads delivery of Babbasa’s Challenge
Programme - a 5 year programme focussed on working with a group of aspiring young people to
develop their leadership potential, skills and sense of self confidence through a stimulating and
experiential training course, delivering a social action project and participating in 1:1 mentoring
sessions. The Challenge Programme is the flagship Babbasa programme and has delivered some
powerful initiatives in Bristol to date such as the Youth Ambassadors City of Change campaign
and the ‘Our Bristol Our World’ Youth Conference working closely with Bristol’s elected Mayor.
The post is funded by The National Lottery (TNL) Reaching Communities Fund and has been
nominated as a national case study example of the Lottery’s community projects.
Core Responsibilities
● Deliver outreach workshops to young people in education and community settings aimed at
increasing their sense of confidence, belonging and empowerment.
● Deliver and facilitate Babbasa’s workshop and training activities including the recruitment,
enrolment and induction of participants (Youth Ambassadors) onto the Challenge
programme.
● Design and deliver weekly training and workshop materials through the use of appropriate
teaching, learning and assessment methods - with the aim of encouraging critical thinking,
debates and developing the ability of participants to engage in critical discourse and rational

The Assessing Social Worker will be responsible for ensuring the success of TACT's projects and change initiatives. The successful candidate will take a pan-organisation view of all projects and other change activities and seek to ensure that the organisation’s leaders have timely, complete, relevant and accurate information on the status of change activities and early insights into potential issues and opportunities.

Role Purpose:
The General Optical Council (GOC) are on a journey to be a world class regulator, with a world-class team. To get us to our destination and be ‘fit for the future,’ we are part way into a significant investment in developing our people and culture. About the role
Knowledge is power and we run over 1,600 training courses that attract 40,000 delegates each year. Your challenge, together with three other Operations Assistants will be to take responsibility for the administration and operational delivery of all of our courses, including face-to-face training and online via webinars and e-learning. Encompass is a local charity based in and covering North Northamptonshire. The charity supports those facing poverty, homelessness and addiction, through the delivery of multiple services including two homeless accommodations, a rehab and aftercare, multiple foodbanks and a soon to be opened day centre.

You will also carry out administration and housekeeping functions relating to the customer service and facilities management of Cranston House. To be successful in this role you will be highly organised with experience of working within a reception or administrative support role, as well as experience providing a high standard of customer service. We are looking for someone who understands the issues faced by homeless people and is excited to learn about the ways we can support them. About the role
This is a vital role supporting the Workforce Development team through the effective coordination of activities associated with a number of initiatives carried out within WorldSkills UK, including the completion of an award-winning pilot programme supporting education institutions to mainstream excellence into the delivery of technical education.

Role purpose

The Policy and Public Affairs (PAPA) team is part of the Strategy and Knowledge Directorate at the NSPCC. The Directorate exists to help shape the world around us – and what the NSPCC does – so that it reflects what we have learned and can help keep children safe from abuse.
The Policy and Public Affairs team works across the four nations of the UK to influence legislation, policy and practice to ensure they are as effective as possible in preventing harm and abuse of children. We develop and hold the NSPCC’s positions on key public policy issues and harness these to influence policy makers and external stakeholders across the UK. We focus on policy priorities through our five core workstreams: the child protection system and children’s social care; early years and health; child sexual abuse; online safety; and young victims and witnesses.
We are recruiting a Policy and Regulatory Manager to play a central role in delivering our strategic ambitions to transform the online world so it safe for children. The post holder will play a management role in the high performing PAPA team which has a track record of successful influencing to ensure legal, policy and regulatory frameworks are fit for purpose in preventing, responding, and tackling child abuse and neglect.
The Policy and Regulatory Manager will spearhead our policy and influencing activity to make the Online Safety Act work for children. This will include delivering our regulatory strategy. They will be responsible for leading policy projects that contribute towards the NSPCC’s strategic objectives, using their skills and experience to strengthen our impact on public policy and regulatory decisions. In turn, they will make a significant contribution to keeping children safe.

The Policy and Regulatory Manager will manage cross-cutting projects across directorates, ensuring we can amplify the voice of the child by channelling the expertise held across the NSPCC’s policy, research, and knowledge teams, and from our wider services.
They will be responsible for line managing two policy and public affairs team members and supporting them to develop robust policy and regulatory analysis.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of online harms or related public policy areas and in-depth knowledge of regulatory structures and processes from experience of working in regulated sectors or for a regulator.
Job purpose
The Policy and Regulatory Manager will deliver public policy projects to support the NSPCC’s strategic objective to transform online protections for children. They will use their skills and experience to strengthen the NSPCC’s impact on public policy and online safety regulation.
The Manager will ensure our policy calls are robust and well-evidenced and develop policy strategies and regulatory liaison to leverage our expertise and secure necessary changes to legislation, regulation, and industry practices.
They will develop impactful and influential relationships with regulators, and with senior stakeholders across Government, parliament, industry, and civil society to inform crucial decisions about legislation and regulatory design, and in turn, the development of regulatory schemes.
The Policy and Regulatory Manager will play a lead role in delivering the NSPCC’s strategy of amplifying the voices and experience of children. The postholder will lead our regulatory engagement and will leverage our research and insight to influence the shape of regulation. This will include representing the NSPCCs views on the design of the online safety regulatory framework and responding to formal consultation.
They will play a leading role within the child safety online (CSO) workstream within the wider Policy and Public Affairs team and will line manage members of staff and help them develop their policy and public affairs skill sets.

Policy and influencing
· Develop and deliver effective regulatory strategies which; identify achievable goals and objectives are underpinned by robust, evidence-based policy positions are high quality, impactful and support the NSPCC’s strategy ambition to transform the online world so that it is safe for children.
· Lead the NSPCCs thinking and approach to Ofcom’s codes of practices.
· Lead and oversee the development of high-quality public policy development and influencing projects to deliver strategic, high impact policy outcomes
· Build excellent relationships with civil service, parliamentary, industry and civil society stakeholders, and leverage these to deliver high impact policy change
· Deliver persuasive, evidenced policy interventions to ensure child-centred decisions on regulatory design and delivery

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Risk & Assurance Manager to join our Audit, Risk & Governance Team. This role will require the successful candidate to support to the Head of Audit, Risk & Governance in the implementation and oversight of effective risk management and assurance policies and procedures for the whole organisation.
Role Requirements
You will attend the Audit & Risk Committee and other board committees from time to time to present on risk and assurance. With experience of delivering 2nd line risk and assurance activities within large, complex or heavily regulated organisation, you will be effective in building professional relationships and influencing and collaborating with colleagues from all disciplines and at all levels.
You will need to engage effectively with frontline and support colleagues to really understand the needs of our beneficiaries and the risks to the charity more broadly. The ultimate objective of risk management at The Children’s Trust is to ensure the charity continues to deliver high-quality, safe and effective and financially sustainable services for vulnerable children now and in the longer-term.
Although the role does not have any formal direct reports, the Risk & Assurance Analyst will have a dotted line into the Risk & Assurance Manager, providing support particularly on business continuity but also on risk management as and when necessary.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail.
