Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, proactive and experienced fundraising professional to join our passionate fundraising team as our Senior Fundraising Manager.

This is an interesting and varied role with the scope to really make a difference. As the ideal candidate you will have previous experience of successfully managing a regional fundraising team, a proven track record of increasing awareness and income within communities and businesses, and an understanding of individual giving campaigns. 

You will be a supportive and effective people manager with excellent communication skills, and be able to build strong relationships across the charity and externally. Being flexible, proactive and commercially minded is also key. You will also need to demonstrate and lead on our people values which are professional, caring and collaborative

About the role

The Senior Fundraising Manager works closely with the Director of Fundraising and Retail to support the implementation of the fundraising strategy and drive income through devising and delivery of a range of fundraising activity involving individuals, businesses and groups in the community. The role manages a team who are responsible for regional fundraising, supporter care and individual giving.

Tŷ Hafan is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children and support for their families, throughout Wales. We offer comfort, care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families in the hospice, in the community and in their home so they can make the most of the time they have left together. The Fundraising team plays a vital role in raising the funds to enable Tŷ Hafan’s hospice and community programmes to keep operating.
