We are looking for a Head of Fundraising who can galvanise support for our work from funders and donors, develop a high-performing fundraising team, and support colleagues in developing fundable projects to restore habitats, engage people and bring wildlife back. Overall Purpose of Job
To grow the Trust’s income to enable us to achieve our vision of restoring the abundance of wildlife throughout our area
Main Responsibilities
• Lead and develop the Trust’s fundraising, overseeing development of prospect pipelines and growing income year on year from membership, major donors, individual giving, legacies, corporate partnerships, grants and charitable trusts, ensuring that the Trust achieves its restricted and unrestricted income targets
• Inspire funding support for the Trust’s work through relationship-based fundraising with major donors, corporates and grant-making bodies
• Enable delivery colleagues to secure funding for their work, supporting the development of fundable projects and high quality bids and securing continuation funding
• Stimulate growth in individual giving from members and non-members through the development and implementation of an ambitious plan incorporating supporter development, recruitment and retention.
• Ensure fundraising systems are working effectively and all activity is compliant with the Trust’s policies, fundraising guidelines from regulators, and all relevant legislation, including Data Protection and Health and Safety.
• Manage an integrated functional team across fundraising, contribute to the direction and development of the Trust as a member of the leadership team and undertake other duties in line with the role as requested
We want to see nature restored on a grand scale across the Avon region. We have big plans between now and 2030 to see this happen.

Location: Home-based, with regular travel required across the region and to our head office in London

About this role:
- Someone with excellent influencing and relationship skills, you will be able to work with a range of key stakeholders, including NHS organisations, clinical teams, and charities.
- Someone with a proven track record of forming, developing, and evaluating new partnerships to drive change and deliver strategic outcomes.
- Someone with an expert understanding in measuring service outcomes, you will be responsible for providing the evidence of quality, impact and cost effectiveness for services funded and provided by Teenage Cancer Trust within your regions.
- Someone who can work strategically to create robust service delivery plans that will improve outcomes and reduce inequity for young people with cancer.

As the Trust and Grants Manager, you will be responsible for generating income from trusts and grants. Based within the Development Team you will look to identify funding opportunities to secure funds to ensure the Hospice successfully achieves its objectives and development plan. With experience of writing bid writing, trust applications and reporting you will have excellent attention to detail and effectively manage deadlines. Transition Together is seeking to continue the work of deepening connection and growing the voice of the Transition Movement in England and Wales through the freelance engagement of three Network Weavers. This exciting project will see this team, supported by Transition Together staff, co-design an in person Transition Assembly early next year to guide the future of our Movement in the UK as well as build relationships with Transitioners across Wales and England and connect to emerging and established networks across the UK. These roles will be around two days a week for 10 months and the deadline to apply is 13 May.

Oasis South Bristol hub team is now in a position to employ a Community Project Worker to work alongside our Oasis Community Hub team in South Bristol and we are looking for a talented and adaptable person to join our busy team focussed on supporting our academies in Hengrove: Oasis John Williams and Oasis New Oak and the communities they serve.
The role will encompass community support activity as well developing and running school holiday provision.
Key responsibilities will be:
- To provide enrichment activities to the children’s youth work to include holiday schemes, afterschool and lunch time clubs.
- To develop a strong food poverty programme and offer support for the community through adult education, wellbeing, advocacy/family support and volunteering opportunities.
- To work alongside the Strategic Community Development Leader to develop funding and volunteer capacity which can support the Academies holistically across all of the Hub.
- To engage and work with families supporting them to access Hub services and activities to develop their skills, knowledge and aspirations.
The successful post holder must have:
- Proven experience of community development
- Self-motivation, resilience, with excellent organisational and inter-personal skills.
- Successful experience of working with parents / carers (voluntary or paid work)
- Successful experience of working with children and young people
- Experience working with challenging behaviours and attitudes
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices and health and safety
