As a Specialist Advocacy Worker, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting parents with LDAD through their journey of parenting. From navigating complex legal proceedings to accessing essential services, you'll be their trusted ally, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide independent advocacy support to parents with LDAD on various issues.
• Help parents understand the child protection process and make informed decisions.
• Advocate for parents' rights, ensuring fair treatment and access to services.
• Work in partnership with parents to navigate care proceedings and other challenges.
• Monitor and report on advocacy provision's impact and effectiveness.

Working with two highly experienced Programme Coordinators, you will help to grow our existing Youth Development Team activities, currently present in Hampton, and continue the development of our newly launched Aspire project.

This is a maternity cover role for a minimum period of 6 months starting in June. You will be based in Peterborough but also spend time at our centre in Cambridge.

You will manage our Lead Youth Development Worker and Aspire Development Worker, in Peterborough, encouraging them to establish positive relationships with young people, from which we development activities, and provide advice and support.

Joining a growing Peterborough team, you’ll support the expansion of weekly groups, one-to-one work, family support, school-based alternative education, trips and residential experiences. Increasing partnership working with local community groups and agencies will be key to this.

Romsey Mill's Youth Development Team (YDT) works with disadvantaged, at-risk and vulnerable young people (aged 10 - 21 years) across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. YDT are passionate about supporting young people to overcome challenges, live fulfilling lives and inspire change in the world. We currently engage around 1200 young people each year. Aspire is the name of Romsey Mill’s project that supports autistic children and young people. We currently deliver 14 specialist youth clubs across Cambridge, Cambourne, Linton and Hampton supporting over 180 autistic young people. We’re excited about further extending the work across Peterborough. You will work out of the office Romsey Mill rents at CSK Church in Hampton for 3-4 days per week. We utilise space there and in other community facilities for the delivery of activities. You will also spend 1-2 days working from Romsey Mill Centre, Cambridge.

We are currently recruiting for a F2F Fundraising Performance Coach's. The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of excellent fundraising results and fundraising compliance standards and specifically the delivery of performance improvements in our F2F fundraisers through coaching, training, and continuous development. The role will also involve direct fundraising where you will be expected to meet a personal target.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for coaching the performance of multiple teams in the region that will consist of lone workers, pairs of fundraisers to bigger teams as the income plan increases.
• Responsible for an individual fundraising target and set of KPI’s that include inspiring people to become long-term monthly donors, generating income through contactless one-off donations and acquiring newsletter prospecting sign ups in a range of locations including residential door-to-door, town and city centres, private venues, and events and more commonly on our private land, the canal and river Towpaths.
• Acting as a hands-on fundraiser who leads by example, delivering fundraising income through signing up Friends and generating contactless income whilst demonstrating the Canal & River Trust ‘s values and behaviours.
• Generating income and being present on-site to visit fundraising teams, fundraise with them, cover sickness absence, coach performance, provide training & development of fundraisers, reinforce our culture of health & safety, embed compliance standards.
• Provide phone coaching and in-person coaching of fundraisers to support meeting their targets and KPI’s and in individual cases working with fundraisers to improve their results from their current level of performance to the required standard by equipping them with the technical and psychological training to work to their very best.
• Identify training requirements and deliver on and off field training and coaching to grow income.
• Apply the highest standards of professionalism integrity, work ethic and follow the Trust’s code of conduct consistently the core values of Excellence, Caring, Open, Local, and inclusive.
• Undertake mystery shopping, observations and internal quality control auditing of values, behaviour, and fundraising technique.
• Support and deputise for the Regional F2F Fundraising Manager by providing cover when they are on leave to support the regional strategy of inspiring new supporters and generating income through contactless giving to the F2F Fundraising programme. This includes taking responsibility for the regional fundraising targets and KPI’s.
• Working with our partner recruitment agency to arrange interviews, send out communications to candidates and sit on the interview panel with the aim of recruiting and onboarding new F2F fundraisers into the F2F programme.
• Support the delivery of performance incentives and setting up/editing teams on Evergiving and the rota.
• Provision of daily reports of observations and actions taken, areas of success, results for that day and areas of training and development identified.
• Process all sensitive and data protected information obtained by donors as confidential and in a safe and secure manner in line with the Trust’s GDPR and Security Procedures.
• Carrying out Daily Compliance training, Charity conversation, case for support and storytelling practice and Health and Safety training sessions as per directed by the Regional F2F Fundraising Manager.
• Manages feedback and complaints in a professional manner and follows the complaints process and communicates details to Regional F2F Fundraising Manager so it can be addressed in a timely and efficient manner.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Driver’s License is essential (requirement for Business insurance)
• Performance management and coaching qualifications are desirable.
• Training qualifications are desirable.
• Knowledge and experience of working within the CIOF, Fundraiser regulator code of practice.
• Significant experience of working in face-to-face fundraising industry.
• Track record of successful individual fundraising and Team leading, meeting performance targets and KPI’s.

Job Description:

Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Targeted Manager. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team to deliver a high-quality programme of positive activities and targeted intervention support for young people in Blackburn and Darwen. You will be responsible for creating impactful programmes and opportunities that promote improved health, wellbeing, education, skills, aspirations, and social cohesion among young people.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage a dedicated team to lead a high-quality programme of positive activities and targeted intervention support, including group activities, 1-1 sessions, family and professional meetings.
• Create programmes and opportunities that provide tangible outcomes for young people, leading to greater prospects and improved wellbeing.
• Represent the service at relevant meetings within the council and with partner agencies.
• Commit to working evenings and weekends, providing support, coaching, and quality assurance for sessions.
• Manage, supervise, direct, and support a team of full-time employees.

• Capture content, data, and impact and write impactful reports concerning the service.

Remuneration Package:

• Salary: Band E £33,000 - £37,500 (Dependent on experience).
• Holidays: 33 days inclusive of 8 Bank Holidays (pro-rated).

Overall Duties of the role will include:

• Being an accessible point of contact for the children living with our carers and to our young people, keeping them up to date with the facilities and opportunities available with TACT
• Providing support to children with emotional welfare and mental health needs
• Supporting interventions and activities to ensure stable placement arrangements
• Being able to transport children and young people to events, appointments and meetings (mileage reimbursed)
• Organising and participating in virtual and face-to-face events and occasional residential meet-ups
• Managing all paperwork associated with events and activities
• Willingness to work flexibly, according to deadlines and needs of our families which may include some after-school, evening and weekend work
• Undertaking trauma-informed direct work with children and young people 

The successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel to the Yorkshire area quarterly for face-to-face team meetings, training, and wellbeing events with the potential for occasional travel to other areas around the UK to facilitate children's residential stays.

You'll lead the scheduling and coordination of the statutory annual review process and be responsible for planning, organising, minuting and drafting all annual review paperwork. You'll support the effective provision of the school office administration by having regulatory knowledge to meet the needs of TreeHouse School and work closely with the reception team where required to support a variety of stakeholders.

You'll liaise closely with the school based Transdisciplinary Team staff, including class teachers, OT, SaLT, PBS specialists as well as outside agencies. You'll manage and organise pupil appointments, including informing parents/carers. You'll manage diaries/Outlook calendars, make appointments, book meetings and training rooms, whilst also being responsible for meeting minutes and note taking.

• Formal administrative/reception qualification or equivalent experience
• Excellent working knowledge of SEND code of practice and Annual review process
• Experience of working within a similar SEND organisation/school/charity environment
