Purpose of the role:

The purpose of this role is to manage and deliver an effective email CRM programme for ZSL and its Zoos (London Zoo and Whipsnade Zoo) across the broad range of audience groups (zoo visitors, donors, members, experience bookers, etc.). The aim is to continuously grow customer acquisition, engagement, value and loyalty as part of an overarching Supporter Journey that has the customer experience at its heart.

Your key responsibilities:

• Design and build on-brand email marketing campaigns from end to end. Including copywriting, building emails on Dotdigital, sending campaigns and manage A/B and MVP testing strategy to ensure continuous optimisation of email campaigns.
• Own the overall email campaign plan and delivery, working with audience owners across ZSL to manage email communications, providing guidance and best practice.
• Analyse and segment customer data and maximise this data to deliver effective targeted activity, managing the quality and frequency of messaging. Use this insight to identify opportunities for up-selling or cross-selling programmes.
• Develop and deliver customer data acquisition strategies and ensure all activity is GDPR compliant.
• Work with the Membership Marketing Manager to fully develop, deliver and manage an effective CRM programme for ZSL to build (automated) supporter journeys along the customer lifecycle, driving loyalty and growing the value of each customer and ROI from CRM activity.
• Work with the Digital Marketing Executive to track and analyse campaign results (engagement, conversion rates, web analytics, ROI) to produce regular reports on campaign performance, and continuously implement improvements based on findings.
• Develop strong working relationships with our Ticketing and Systems teams to understand and use Tessitura, our membership and donations CRM platform as well as ticketing and experiences data from SEE Tickets.
• Manage ZSL’s email service platform (currently Dotdigital) including being responsible for managing and maintaining the data within it to ensure that all customer data and communication is GDPR complaint, management of the ESP budget and management of the relationship with the ESP supplier.

About the role

This is your opportunity to play a part in the day to day running of our CRM team and to really make your mark here at Shelter. About you

To succeed, you’ll need a firm grasp of the CRM tech landscape, including list management, segmentation and dynamic content, with experience of Adobe Campaign, Adobe Classic or a similar platform being essential. We’re looking for substantial experience in a CRM role with significant output and a proven track record of building and deploying complex automated journeys.

You’ll have good understanding of email marketing best practices, and the ability to edit email templates in HTML is desirable. Additionally, experience using Litmus (or something similar), as well as data selection experience, would be desirable.

What is for certain though is that you’re well-organised, have strong attention to detail, and can manage your time effectively as well as being used to building dynamic content within a template and building segments and audiences.

You’ll be playing a big part not only in our team but within the wider organisation as we look to use CRM more and more.

We are looking for Senior Supporter Acquisition Manager to join our Fundraising directorate and lead a brilliant team to develop and implement a range of supporter acquisition marketing programmes and to achieve the growth ambitions of our Fundraising strategy.

The Supporter Acquisition team is responsible for all marketing to attract new supporters across a large portfolio of appeals/products and media.  We are looking for someone to join us who has significant expertise with a wide range of marketing channels and can really add value to large well-established programmes with their experience, knowledge and drive to continually improve, identify appropriate new opportunities and shape supporter acquisition programmes.

ABOUT BLACK ROOTZ

Black Rootz is a multigenerational growing project providing opportunities for Black and racially minoritised people to grow food for themselves, their families and their communities. Black Rootz was established in 2019 by a collective of Black growers in Haringey who recognised the need to organise to challenge the deep inequalities in the growing and food systems. Over the past 5 years, Black Rootz has developed a holistic practice for Black and racially minoritised communities incorporating intergenerational knowledge transfer, increased access to land and food sovereignty, regenerative environmental practices and reduced food inequality.

Black Rootz has been incubated as a project within The Ubele Initiative since 2019. As an established name in the growing community, it is now building towards an independent future.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project Manager is a new role that will provide hands on management capacity to Black Rootz. The role will bring experience and energy to support the delivery and continued development of the project’s core activities; the Community Growing Programme and a new workshop series. The Project Manager will take on a management position and, with support from Ubele, help the project to navigate decisions that will enable Black Rootz to achieve its overall social, environmental, and operational ambitions. 

The successful candidate will be central in Black Rootz’ journey towards a more independent and sustainable future. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the complexity andholistic nature of Black Rootz and will be committed to its values. As a small team, the Project Manager will be as comfortable making plans and big decisions as they are rolling their sleeves up and being hands on to support the team. While this is a fixed-term contract, we expect the role to be extended and grow over time.

Located in Little Venice, West London, our shop is located in a beautiful area, with brilliant merchandise and a dedicated volunteer team that we'd love to continue growing. 

The shop has great potential, and as Shop Manager you'll explore opportunities to grow income and continue to develop the offer, including forming stronger community links, building the volunteer team, and ultimately increasing donations and income. You'll be a passionate people leader, excited to work in a diverse community!

About You 

You will be someone with exceptional people skills, a leader who understands the importance of community and enjoys supporting people to exercise similar passions through volunteering. You'll be passionate about bringing the Mary's Living & Giving philosophy to life and will bring:

• Proven experience leading and motivating teams, ideally having managed volunteers, or a retail team previously
• A strong understanding of what good looks like in a busy and successful community-led shop, ideally with Retail experience 
• A clear passion for sustainable fashion and knowledge of products and trends
• A can-do attitude and ability to approach challenges in a positive way, knowing when to reach out for support and guidance where you need it.

Previous charity retail experience is ideal, but not essential. If you have transferable leadership skills or experience managing volunteers in other settings and are looking for a new challenge in a charity shop with a difference, we'd love to hear from you!

NOAH Enterprise seeks to help the most disadvantaged in the local community, providing a practical, empowering and caring service to people who are struggling against homelessness and exclusion and have nowhere else to turn. Dedicated to recognising the potential in people who are at the margins of society and helping them realise it, NOAH Enterprise works with the whole person to find permanently and individually tailored pathways out of homelessness.

The consequences of the cost-of-living crisis and the aftermath of the pandemic means that the organisation expects to see increasing numbers of people seeking their help. They are entering an exciting phase of investment to ensure that the charity can provide the support that has been so vital to so many people for the past 30 years.

Following the success of the new NOAH Enterprise store in Hitchin, the Senior Store Manager will manage a new NOAH Enterprise flagship store and maximise profits by ensuring exceptional customer service standards, correct pricing, stock and window displays and the management of volunteers. They will also act as retail sales supervisor for 4 other NOAH stores and train staff and volunteers in consistent best practice.

Key responsibilities

* Customer Experience and Service: Welcome customers warmly, maintain an inviting atmosphere, and train and oversee retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Visual Merchandising and Operations: Maintain correct pricing, sizing, and stock displays. Ensure high standards of visual presentation and cleanliness in all areas.
* Team Management and Motivation: Set and communicate targets to shop teams, motivating them to achieve goals. Conduct regular floor walks to maintain standards and provide feedback.
* Promotions and Sales: Implement promotions in alignment with the guidance of the Retail Operations Manager. Actively promote Gift Aid and achieve conversion targets.
* Back of House Management: Manage and control stock effectively. Recruit and manage volunteers, collaborating with the Marketing Manager for recruitment materials. Maintain compliance with cash handling, security, health, and safety procedures and provide regular reporting to the Retail Operations Manager.

The Senior Shop Manager will have a minimum of three years' experience managing a charity or clothing retail store. The successful post holder will have experience in cybertil systems, an understanding of charity retail and solid customer service experience. You will have experience successfully managing staff and volunteers and demonstrate understanding and respect for NOAH Enterprise's values of Care, Compassion, and Commitment. The ideal candidate would have some knowledge and understanding of Fundraising and Marketing.

The role will be based in Hertfordshire where the new flagship store will be opening (exact location TBC). The successful post holder will need to take a flexible approach to working hours (within the scope of the agreed working week) and will need to work evenings and weekends on occasion. There is a TOIL policy in place for any additional hours worked. Occasional travel will be required for meetings, staff days and training. You will have a full driving license and access to your own transport. All travel expenses for work will be covered.

About the Role 

As Shop Support Manager, you will provide focused support on defined areas, working alongside the Shop Manager to understand the shop, community, and proposition.   

This is an exciting new role with huge opportunity to impact the success of our Teddington shop, and to act as an ambassador for our brand in the local community!

Working closely with the Shop Manager in our Teddington shop, you'll take on a varied role delivering on key areas of work to enable the delivery of the shop's potential. You'll help embed new processes and ways of working that empower the volunteer team to help the Shop Manager drive the shop forward. 

From supporting volunteer recruitment, to taking on responsibility for day-to-day operations or leadership of the shop, you'll provide key support and additional capacity to the Shop Manager to enable the shop's continued success.   

About You 

You will be someone with exceptional project coordination skills, who understands the importance of community and enjoys supporting people to exercise similar passions through volunteering. 

You'll bring: 

• Project coordination or operations experience within retail or a transferable setting, e.g. community engagement, volunteer management, retail operations etc. 
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build & maintain positive working relationships with a variety of people.
• A flexible, positive and resilient attitude, able to work at pace in a fast-moving environment. 
• Results driven approach with experience of working to targets. 
• Experience and confidence using a range of IT platforms including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as systems for the management of other areas (e.g. reporting, volunteer management).
