The Children's Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 140 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We're there for children, every step of the way.
This role sits within our children and families directorate, which works to provide immediate one-to-one and group support for children and young people to support their emotional and mental health across Schools and colleges that are signed up to the Department of Health and Department of Education Trailblazer initiative.
Your role will be to provide interventions that will help a range of children & young people, aged between 5 - 18 to understand their emotional and mental health. Provide support by way of one to one sessions, group work and via virtual interactive sessions. Work closely with education professionals across several schools and build positive and trusting relationships. Together with offering information and guidance to parents.
We are currently looking for a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner to join our dynamic, ambitious team.
A key part of this role will be your ability to
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
In order to be successful in this role, you must have:
-HEE PG Diploma in Education Mental Health Practice for children & young people or PG Diploma in Psychological Wellbeing Practice for children and young people
-Good working knowledge of nationally agreed routine outcome measures within the CYP-IAPT Programme.
-Working knowledge of the educational system.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.• Ability to deliver low intensity evidenced based interventions under supervision to children and young people.• Ability to devise and deliver group-based interventions to children and young people.• Ability to delver parent led interventions where children have a mental health need.

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join our Digital & QA team as a Digital Project Manager. This role will primarily be responsible for project managing the development of Ygam’s new website from concept to handover in addition to some of Ygam’s other planned digital projects.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of successfully managing digital projects, from initial briefing to final implementation and review, with a thorough understanding of agile methodologies, values and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you'll be engaging with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. You should be accurate, organised and able to manage multiple projects concurrently. While you should be capable of working independently, you should also excel in a team environment, fostering collaboration and driving towards shared goals.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Lead the process to procure external developers for the online portal and manage the relationship with the appointed developer.
- Maintain the project plan, monitoring progress and ensuring milestones are met.
- Manage relationship with appointed developer.
- Engage and consult with internal and external stakeholders, enabling scoping exercises to capture all required functionality and specifications, and developing risk logs, to ensure the website meets user requirements.
- Anticipate potential issues and dependencies, highlight project risks and develop proactive mitigation plans.
- Manage web development budget.
- Operate within agreed timescales.
- Be collaborative, efficient, analytical with great diligence, ensuring consistent improvement in the quality of our outputs.
- Additional digital projects as identified in line with Ygam Strategy including Safer Gambling training development, working with internal and external stakeholders.

Ygam is seeking a proactive, adaptable, creative, resilient individual, who has the ability to work remotely, autonomously and as part of a team. They must have outstanding communication skills, be highly organised, and an excellent team player.
The post holder will be an active member of our programmes team and will work across our portfolio of programmes, particularly focusing on our Parental Engagement Programme.
They will be responsible for regional stakeholder engagement, developing relationships and promoting Ygam training across the UK. They will recruit suitable delegates to workshops, working closely with a range of organisations and families.
They will provide training both face to face and online and will be responsible for the delivery of our assured workshops and promoting the work of Ygam at conferences and events.
They will be able to demonstrate the impact of this work by working with organisations to collate case studies and evidence to support the programmes achievements.
