The Corporate Partnerships Account Manager plays a pivotal role in the Fundraising and Communications directorate and is responsible for managing, stewarding, renewing, and growing our corporate partners to meet our fundraising income targets. Our partners range from complex programmatic-focused partners to employee engagement-driven partners and reflect a combination of financial support, skills-based support, and volunteering. The role is varied and requires strong time management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, relationship management, and a deep understanding of industry standards, best practices, and trends. Key Responsibilities
Lead the management of our corporate partners, developing and delivering partnership strategies and stewardship plans for each account to deliver against the objectives and meet income targets.
· Work closely with the New Business Senior Manager to ensure the collaborative transition of new partners into account management, liaise with the Volunteering and Events Manager to deliver volunteering opportunities to partners, and the Fundraising Officer to promote challenge events to our partners.

The Charity
GroceryAid has been the charity for the grocery industry since 1857. It provides free and confidential welfare support to anyone working in the grocery industry, from the first day of their employment. More than 350 of the most well-known grocery retailers and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) brands support the charity, enabling us to help more than 44,000 people in the last twelve months alone. The charity raises funds through a highly respected yearly events calendar and the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) in Grocery programme.
D&I in Grocery Programme
The programme is delivered and facilitated by GroceryAid, with the support of the Strategy Steering Group and three workstream steering groups, it is a programme truly created for the industry by the industry. With over 90 FMCG partners, it is the largest collaboration of FMCG brands, working towards the common goal to accelerate a truly diverse and inclusive grocery industry. In 2023 the programme provided over 12,562 learning hours across 64 D&I topics. The programme benefits its partners through:
- A 12-month cross-industry mentoring programme which provides equity and opportunity to historically underrepresented communities
- Shared learning resources within The Partner Hub including podcasts, monthly learning labs and cross industry ERG Forums
- D&I in Grocery Live! unites the industry once a year, at the largest D&I event in the grocery sector
- Tracks tangible progress annually through the new D&I in Grocery Maturity Model
- Connects partners on different topics to share and learn from each other to accelerate their journey
Main purpose of the role
As a senior member of the D&I in Grocery team, you will play an integral part in managing partners and supporting them through their D&I journey. Lead on the Mentoring workstream and manage D&I in Grocery’s first ever Maturity Model. The role suits someone with outstanding stakeholder management skills and excellent project management capabilities. The role requires the ability to manage several priorities simultaneously and be flexible in approach to changing responsibilities across workstreams due to the nature of the D&I landscape and fast spaced industry.
Main responsibilities of the role
- Ownership of partner accounts. Building top quality relationships to achieve maximum engagement and support partners with their D&I journey. Ensuring retention year on year
- Lead on the Mentoring workstream with the support of the Mentoring Steering Group
- Lead on the future development of the Maturity Model with the support of the Maturity Model Subgroup and Head of D&I

Relationship Management
- Build relationships and manage high profile partner accounts, across three touchpoints a year to support them on their D&I journey. Discussing maturity model results, gaining insight, and ensuring partners are utilising all aspects of the programme and encouraging connections to accelerate change.
- Utilising relationships to create leads for hosting webinars, sharing content, and joining steering groups
- Support the Senior Relationship Manager to deliver three virtual Partner Session events a year
- Achieve revenue targets across retention and acquisition
Mentoring Programme
- Lead on the delivery of the Mentoring workstream and gain feedback for future improvements
- Manage the Mentoring Steering Group, working with them to deliver on the programme’s vision, deliver virtual onboarding events, in person mentee networking events and cohort graduations
- Successfully match over 220+ mentees and 220+ mentors and support candidates on their journey
- Capture the diversity of each year’s cohort and analyse the data for review and to set future key performance indicators (KPIs)
Maturity Model
- Lead on future developments of the model with the Maturity Model subgroup
- With the support of the project co-ordinator manage the model and run analytics as and when needed
- Lead on the yearly completion window cycle to ensure a high completion rate across the partnership, guidance to partners, report delivery and industry score generation
Project Management
- Responsible for end-to-end project and event delivery, on time, in scope, to budget and highlighting risks
- Ownership of project governance with steering / subgroups, through creating agendas, accurate minutes, proposals, and yearly roadmap. Succession planning for Chair and Deputy Chair rotations every two years
- Track and achieve KPI’s across the programme scorecard
- Responsible for ensuring all stakeholders internally and externally are brought on the journey
- Manage platforms and contracted suppliers to deliver to a high standard
- Drive innovation and identify new revenue streams to support the GroceryAid Welfare offer
- Work with marketing team on communication plans to build awareness and Relationship Management team to achieve KPI’s

We are looking for a capable, proactive person to support the programme from initial mobilisation through to an eventual large-scale trial. The Senior Programme Support Officer will support the Head of Programmes to develop, mobilise and deliver Building Futures. The postholder will take the lead on specific tasks, and coordinate the work of the wider cross-organisational Building Futures team.

The Middlesbrough Programme on Gendered Poverty is an exciting collaborative programme bringing together Buttle UK, the Smallwood Trust and Turn2us to test whether a co-produced & collaborative approach to grant-making can transform the lives of women and their children.

About the Youth Endowment Fund
We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.
In recent years violent crime has risen significantly. Homicides, assaults, robberies and offences involving weapons have all seen growth. We have also seen increases in violent crime involving children and young people. This is a tragedy. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them.
The Youth Endowment Fund exists to try and permanently change things. To succeed, we must build a fantastic body of knowledge about violence affecting young people and how we reduce it. This knowledge has to be both rigorous and highly relevant to those making decisions about how to support vulnerable young people. We need to find out what works and what doesn’t through evidence synthesis, data analysis and qualitative research into children’s lives. We then need to convert this into highly accessible content on what works, how delivery organisations need to change their practice and how the systems they operate in need to be reformed.
About the Toolkit and Synthesis Team
The Toolkit and Synthesis team is at the heart of our work to spread knowledge of what works to prevent children becoming involved in violence. We do this by creating free, highly accessible summaries of the best available research. We love to discuss the latest developments in research methods, but we’re not just interested in research for its own sake. We want research to lead to actual changes in outcomes for children.
Our flagship resource is our Toolkit a free, online resource that summarises the best available evidence about preventing children becoming involved in serious violence. It’s based on the highest-quality systematic reviews but is written in plain English and is free of jargon. It provides practical guidance and helps practitioners and policy makers turn evidence into action. The Toolkit is a live resource – we regularly update it so that professionals working to keep children safe have access to the latest findings. We do this by commissioning new systematic reviews, building a pipeline of evidence to keep expanding the Toolkit.
Alongside our work on the Toolkit, our team is also responsible for the YEF Programmes Evidence and Gap Map and the YEF Systems Evidence and Gap Map. We’re working with external partners to explore new ways of updating the research using the latest developments in technology. We’re also working with partners on an Effect Size Database to facilitate new systematic reviews and meta-analyses of research examining the impact of violence prevention interventions.
Key responsibilities
The Senior Research Manager will be an essential part of the YEF Toolkit and Synthesis team and will develop a portfolio of impactful projects. The core of your role will be leading our work on commissioning evidence synthesis.
This will involve:
- Developing the future pipeline of systematic reviews. You’ll scope out the existing evidence base and understand the needs of our audience. You’ll use this information to recommend new review topics for YEF funding.
- Leading on the design, commissioning, and management of systematic reviews. You’ll also work with our partners to manage existing grants for systematics reviews. This will involve reviewing protocols and reports, working with advisory groups, and ensuring that systematic reviews will meet our aims.
- Becoming an advocate for the insights generated by YEF-funded reviews both within and outside the organisation. You’ll ensure that these insights inform our strategy and are accurately communicated to policy makers and practitioners.
- Writing and reviewing content for the Toolkit. You’ll use findings from evidence synthesis to produce new content for the Toolkit, including summaries of the evidence and impactful resources which enable the application of research in practice. You’ll ensure that Toolkit content is only ever easy-to-understand and written in plain English with incredible clarity.
- Providing leadership across the organisation to ensure synthesis is high-quality. You’ll be the go-to person at the YEF for support with evidence synthesis.
- Ensuring that reviews are used to update and expand the YEF’s Evidence and Gap Maps.
- Contributing research to support the scoping, development and delivery of our grant-making.
- Ensuring that our strategy and decision-making are informed by the best available research.
About you

We are seeking an experienced Events & Partnerships Manager, to play an integral role within a dynamic fundraising team. Responsible for developing our events portfolio, community fundraising as well as expanding and developing our corporate and donor opportunities. Role Purpose
Responsible for developing and delivering our Events and Partnerships fundraising strategies, to secure appropriate funding to ensure the sustainable delivery of high-quality services by Home-Start Essex.
You will lead on developing and delivering our Home-Start events and in-aid of events plus expanding our community fundraising activities. As Events and Partnerships Manager you will also use your experience and skills to identify and lead approaches to potential corporate supporters and major donors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and lead on delivering the Events & Partnerships portfolio, to grow a strong our sustainable funding base through planned activities & clear KPIs.
· To achieve financial income targets whilst maximizing opportunities for growth and development across this income stream.
· To lead on events, community and corporate activities with support from the Fundraising & Marketing Administrator.
· To provide excellent stewardship to all our supporters, encouraging long-term support from donors, continuing to build on our reputation as a vital local charity.
· To work with the Communications & Marketing Manager to develop a fundraising marketing strategy to raise the profile or our fundraising activities, to encourage support and donations.
· To support the CEO in developing new major donor relationships.
· To research, plan approaches to corporate supporters for sponsorship or staff engagement. To develop and manage clear cultivation plans across key corporate contacts.
· To report on agreed KPIs and provide regular reports to the CEO and Finance & Business Development committee.
· Carry out regular horizon scanning, to develop and grow our events and partnerships opportunities, research major donor and corporate prospects.
· With support from the Grants & Commissioning Manager, produce compelling content for proposals for donors/ corporates plus stewardship materials, liaising closely with the senior management team and marketing team and adhering to brand guidelines and key messaging.
· Manage the Events and Partnerships fundraising programme via Beacon CRM, developing account management and stewardship activities and maintaining detailed records of all communications.
· Direct and support the Fundraising and Marketing Administrator to plan and deliver fundraising events and support community fundraising.
· In aid of events:
Ø To plan and oversee all events and proactively seek opportunities to develop our portfolio of events, keeping a keen eye on income contribution and ROI.
Ø To form strong relationships with external partners, to deliver events and grow and develop the portfolio.
· HSE events:
Ø To develop a bespoke in-person mass fundraising event with high participant numbers and value per head and ensuring the smooth and safe delivery of all events.
Ø Establish a wider team of volunteer fundraisers expanding into local communities and providing guidance and leadership on events.
Ø To work with the Communications and Marketing Manager to ensure that all events are well promoted and all marketing avenues have been explored, helping to formulate and monitor marketing planning and delivery to ensure targets are met.
Ø To work with the Fundraising & Marketing Administrator and Volunteer Development Officer to recruit and manage volunteers.
Ø To ensure events are thoroughly evaluated and recommendations implemented.
Reporting
· To provide regular activity, income and pipeline updates to the CEO and Finance & Business Development Committee.
· Maintain accurate records of income and restrictions.
· Ensure that progress against KPIs and pipeline is effectively monitored and reported, flagging concerns and developments in good time.
· Ensuring pipeline development by maintaining Beacon (CRM), recording all stewardship actions and communications.
Other duties
· To attend fundraising events.
· To work closely with other members of the fundraising department to provide data and leads to help them maximise income for the charity.
· To develop an in-depth knowledge of HSE and understanding of HSE’s work.
· To keep up to date with best practice in fundraising and comply with relevant legislation.
· To act as an ambassador for the fundraising department and the charity both internally and externally.
· To undertake any other assignments within the fundraising department and wider organisation as required.
· Manage resources for the Fundraising team and contribute to budgeting and preparation for financial audits/reviews.
· To develop and implement short, medium and long-term strategic business and funding plans for Home-Start Essex, as part of the senior management team, subject to Board approval.
People Management
· Provide line management to the Fundraising and Marketing Administrator, delegating appropriately and building a culture which attracts, retains and motivates staff.
· Undertake supervision, appraisals and performance management actions as necessary.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Fundraising Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Income and Partnerships Development team. This person will be reporting to the Head of Partnerships and will coordinate all fundraising activities and volunteers from our alumni, sponsor firms and SEO London supporters. ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Further Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategies: Work closely with the Head of Partnerships to further develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies. Execute fundraising plans to achieve income targets and ensure long-term sustainability.
- Grant Writing and Proposal Development: Research and identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, government organisations and other donor oganisations. Prepare grant expressions of interest, proposals and applications that effectively communicate the need for our work and SEO London’s mission, programmes, and impact.
- Fundraising Events Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events, including F1 challenges, Royal Parks Half Marathon and any other fundraising activities. Oversee all aspects of event logistics, marketing, sponsorship, and volunteer coordination.
- Fundraising Volunteers Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of volunteer interactions and contributions using excel and other tools. Volunteers to include sponsor firm reps, alumni, our students and other SEO London supporters. Generate reports and analytics to track fundraising progress and campaign effectiveness.
- Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of all funder reporting obligations and milestones, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submissions of reports. Accurately recording and tracking donor contributions, pledges, and grants received.
- Marketing and communication: Work closely with the marketing and communication team to raise awareness of fundraising activities through campaigns on social media and other marketing campaigns.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with programmes leads, finance team, marketing and alumni team, to engage firm volunteers, alumni, students and SEO London staff to have a big splash as to our fundraising activity.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, fundraising, business administration, or a related field.
Candidates without a degree will be considered if they have at least 2 years relevant and relatable work experience in a similar role.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
We are looking for applicants who have at least 2 years demonstrable experience in some of the following areas and will be willing to learn and develop others:
