Purpose of the Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer role:
As Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer, the successful candidate will play an integral role in the implementation and maintenance of a rolling programme of prospect identification, research and the nurturing of relationships. Leading on maximising support through the corporate fundraising streams, the post holder will draft and submit applications among other approaches to prospective funders and donors. In addition to developing persuasive cases for support in line with organisational priorities, the post holder will ensure that the activities for which funds are sought are impactful, measurable and can be effectively reported on to funders. Understanding Women’s Aid work, business plans and strategic priorities will be essential, as well as an involvement in fundraising events with the purpose of relationship building, nure and networking.
Key duties and responsibilities of the Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer:

To be responsible for a portfolio of prospective and existing corporate supporters to solicit large donations, funding and ensure meaningful partnerships are created

Work to match funders aims with Women’s Aid’s vision, purpose and mission – using creativity and innovation to package up relevant areas of Women’s Aid work and strategy to be appealing to funders

Understanding the organisational needs and strategy in order to provide excellent account management to Corporate funders and Major Donors/High Givers.

To employ a variety of personal engagement mechanisms to ensure that prospects and supporters become, and remain, fully engaged with our cause whilst ensuring the highest level of standards of data capture are maintained on the organisational CRM.
What we are looking for in our Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer:

Proven experience of successful fundraising from Corporate supporters, major & mid level donors and Trusts.

Experience of acquiring and managing corporate Charity of the Year partnerships.

Demonstrable initiative and determination.

Experience of writing reports on activities, summarising and analysing figures to make recommendations using Word, Excel and databases.

The Corporate Partnerships Account Manager plays a pivotal role in the Fundraising and Communications directorate and is responsible for managing, stewarding, renewing, and growing our corporate partners to meet our fundraising income targets. Key Responsibilities

City Harvest – Corporate Partnerships Manager
Location: Acton, London W3. Three days in the office.
Salary: Between £36k - £44k, depending on experience.

City Harvest, the charity rescuing food to feed people and protect the planet, is seeking a corporate fundraising manager with excellent relationship-building skills to be responsible for the management and maximisation of corporate partnerships at the charity.
Since 2014, City Harvest has been working to solve food poverty and food waste across London. Every week, the charity rescues over 100 tonnes of surplus food from the food industry. Staff and volunteers sort and package this food, and our vans deliver it, free of charge, six days per week to over 375 community partners across 30 London boroughs. The organisation provides over 1.1 million meals monthly, with 43% of their deliveries made up of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Reporting to the Senior Corporate Development Manager, this role will lead and manage a portfolio of charity partnerships to an excellent standard. As well as managing and supporting the development of strategic partnerships, the post-holder will build relationships with multiple stakeholders at corporate partners to develop engagement and long-term commitment. This will include partnerships such as charity of the year, London chosen charity, commercial, cause-related marketing and affinity partnerships between £5-£100k. The post-holder will also develop high-quality materials for current and future partners and lead partner visits to City Harvest sites.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working in corporate fundraising in the charity sector or within a CSR team. You will be experienced in managing corporate partnerships and in building relationships with donors and senior stakeholders. Excellent writing and presentation skills will be combined with good time management abilities. You will also be highly organised and will have experience of using a CRM system for fundraising.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will generate income and impact for the Stroke Association by identifying and winning new partnerships with businesses that have an affinity to our cause.

· To sell in fundraising products to potential partners, often on a cold calling basis, and to contribute creative fundraising ideas to help the Corporate Partnerships team develop new fundraising product ideas for proposals, applications and pitches
About You
We need someone with creativity and flair. Someone who can marshal emotions, facts and figures to help us put stroke on the map. An ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders to articulate the value of corporate partnerships to all parties will be crucial.
You will have a proven track record of:
· Securing and/or managing partnerships (in the charitable or private sector) worth £6-figure+ sums across a variety of income streams e.g. strategic, Charity of the Year, sponsorship
· Making successful cold approaches to potential supporters/clients
· Partnership delivery including experience of deepening and broadening partnerships to increase their meaningfulness and longevity

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø To develop a bespoke in-person mass fundraising event with high participant numbers and value per head and ensuring the smooth and safe delivery of all events.
Ø Establish a wider team of volunteer fundraisers expanding into local communities and providing guidance and leadership on events.
Ø To work with the Communications and Marketing Manager to ensure that all events are well promoted and all marketing avenues have been explored, helping to formulate and monitor marketing planning and delivery to ensure targets are met.
Ø To work with the Fundraising & Marketing Administrator and Volunteer Development Officer to recruit and manage volunteers.
Ø To ensure events are thoroughly evaluated and recommendations implemented.
Reporting
· To provide regular activity, income and pipeline updates to the CEO and Finance & Business Development Committee.
· Maintain accurate records of income and restrictions.
· Ensure that progress against KPIs and pipeline is effectively monitored and reported, flagging concerns and developments in good time.
· Ensuring pipeline development by maintaining Beacon (CRM), recording all stewardship actions and communications.
Other duties
· To attend fundraising events.
· To work closely with other members of the fundraising department to provide data and leads to help them maximise income for the charity.
· To develop an in-depth knowledge of HSE and understanding of HSE’s work.
· To keep up to date with best practice in fundraising and comply with relevant legislation.

People Management
· Provide line management to the Fundraising and Marketing Administrator, delegating appropriately and building a culture which attracts, retains and motivates staff.

About the role
The SMF has just agreed a new three-year strategy with bold ambitions to develop our programmes to have more impact on more young people, and to increase our influence on the systemic barriers to social mobility. As our Head of Partnerships & Income Development you will own the development and delivery of our income generation strategy so that we can build the partnerships and secure the resources we need to meet these ambitions.
You will primarily be accountable for overseeing and developing our impressive portfolio of corporate funding relationships and partnerships, through which we deliver on our strategic priorities and generate most of our income – currently £3m annually. Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our Relationship Fundraising Department for a 3 year fixed term contract. The role sits within an 11 person Corporate Fundraising team, which has an overall target of £3.5m.

The Partnerships Manager will primarily be responsible for managing a new and exciting multi-year strategic partnership. Background and role purpose
Consortium hosts the largest network of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans + groups, projects and organisations in the UK (600 members) and offers a range of support so that they can deliver vital support and services to over 5 million LGBT+ people, their friends and families. We are also a specialist grant funder, having provided over £1.75m in grants since 2019, across 275 awards, with this being an exciting area of growth falling within the remit of this role.
We are recruiting for a Head of Partnerships and Development who will support our charity, and the LGBT+ sector, to continue growth in an appropriate and sustainable way. We are seeking an excellent relationship builder who can help us maximise our ability to generate positive social impact through relationship-building and fundraising skills.
As Head of Partnerships & Development you will be responsible for managing key business partnerships, identifying new potential income streams (for Consortium & the LGBT+ sector), and exploring opportunities to increase the impact of our work.
