The role
As Partner Engagement Manager you will promote and develop the work of Family Fund in its reach to families. You’ll also contribute to its profile within the disability sector in Wales and with key Government/political stakeholders.
You will proactively work with a wide range of public, private and third sector organisations. Your goal will be to ensure Family Fund’s strategy is understood, and that mutually beneficial relationships are formed. In addition, you will seek out opportunities which allow Family Fund to achieve its key priorities, deliver added value for funders, and secure positive outcomes for our beneficiaries.
You will be acknowledged as a senior Family Fund representative across the disability sector, deputising for the Group CEO, or Directors on committees and at events as required.
Finally, you will build effective partnerships and proactively develop activities with key organisations across public, private and third sectors.

Whilst the role is remote based, you will regularly need to attend in-person meetings and events in central London (daytime and evening), as well as undertaking travel across the UK. Given the need to attend meetings in Westminster and Whitehall, you will need to live within commuting distance of London.
Key focus areas
- Building relationships with public, private and third sector organisations, including the wider DPA community.

Purpose of the role
Our PR & Media Manager is crucial to our plans to scale up our media coverage as we enter the final years of our campaign to end bear bile farming in Vietnam. As part of the Comms team, you will work closely with colleagues in our Programmes and Fundraising teams to amplify their work through public relations, celebrity support and media activity. Conditions and Benefits

- Provide excellent stewardship to all supporters who engage with legacies, working with stakeholders to ensure journeys are insight-led, respond to audience needs, and are well documented and reported upon.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of legacy giving initiatives and regularly report on progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Use data and analytics to inform decision-making and continuously improve strategies for maximising legacy support.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the end-to-end process for delivering the legacies plan is designed and documented. This includes solving problems in circumstances where there is minimal guidance available from established practices and precedents within the organisation.
- Work closely with the Head of Relationship Fundraising and other fundraising colleagues to ensure that all fundraising activities are well-coordinated and contribute towards the overall fundraising strategy.

Role purpose:
The Partnerships & Income Operations Manager plays a multifaceted role encompassing driving pipeline prospecting efforts, managing certain impact reporting initiatives, and nurturing corporate partnerships. This pivotal role serves as a primary point of contact for coordinating various aspects of partnership development, impact reporting, and fundraising activities.
Main responsibilities and accountabilities:
Corporate Partnerships:
· Lead a portfolio of lower to mid-value corporate donors, cultivating relationships and maximising engagement aligned with organisational objectives.
· Balance support between existing partnership management and developing new business opportunities, including mid to higher value partnerships.
Pipeline Prospecting:
· Lead the identification and cultivation of prospective corporate donors, both new and potential.
· Utilise relationship management expertise and networking acumen to proactively identify opportunities for engagement in alignment with our balanced scorecard objectives.
· Act as a primary point of contact for inbound and outbound leads, collaborating with the Communications Team on outreach campaigns to drive lead generation and partnership engagement.
· Ensure a seamless experience for prospects entering the organisation, guiding them through the employer customer journey.
· Support the engagement of targeted employers in key sectors and regions, collaborating with income generation colleagues to develop mid to higher value prospects.

Engagement Tracking:
· Develop and maintain an Excel document to meticulously track engagement levels and interaction points with stakeholders.

Impact Reporting:
· Coordinate, own, and update the employer impact reporting calendar for Partnerships and Income, ensuring proactive management of reporting deadlines and deliverables.

· Maintain and update the fundraising FAQs document, acting as the point of contact for the team regarding any new questions and ensuring incorporation of new queries into the document.

· Assist in the development and updating of key information packs and documents related to impact reporting and fundraising.
