About the role
Coram’s Fundraising Team raises funds for the charity – the Individual Giving team has responsibility for supporter care, customer service and donor administration and managing our supporter database. Coram has been growing its investment in Individual Giving for a number of years, has a loyal and very generous supporter base and an ambition to see this grow and develop further by embracing new ideas. The team has an exciting future and this role will play a key part in its success.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Individual Giving team and support the development and growth of the programme. The role will involve developing engaging content to communicate the importance and impact of our work, inspiring existing and new supporters to commit to long term support of the charity. This will involve printed media but also increasingly digital media as we look to widen the reach of our communications and messaging. It will also require excellent supporter care/donor retention skills to ensure that we make sure we maintain our donors support over the long term and experience working with databases, ideally Raiser’s Edge. The role is a great next step for someone in fundraising wishing to develop their fundraising skills further in direct marketing.

Our award winning fundraising division is currently looking for an Engagement and Stewardship Executive to join our Partnership and Philanthropy team in this newly created role for the charity.
With ambitious plans to grow our fundraising income above £60m in the next 5 years we are expanding our fundraising team. The role sits within the newly created Operations Team ensuring Age UK's donor facing Partnerships and Philanthropy Team are provided with the highest quality donor research, engagement and stewardship materials required to create transformative partnerships with businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts and foundations.

* This role is not a donor-facing role but sits within the newly created Partnerships and Philanthropy Operations team that provides the back-of-house systems, processes, content and support to enable donor-facing colleagues to operate efficiently and effectively.
* We ask all members of Age UK's Partnerships and Philanthropy department to work from our London hub near Tower Hill at least once a week to enable collaboration, skills development and team dynamics (currently Thursdays). The role is responsible for developing CARE International UK’s legacy marketing programme and leading on our wider supporter experience. The post holder will devise and implement strategies to meet targets. The role leads on planning for legacy marketing, ensuring audience insight and effective targeting are at the heart of the programme. And will deliver marketing campaigns via offline and online channels.
The role needs someone who thinks creatively and will apply their entrepreneurial spirit to developing a successful programme. The role will distil CARE’s work down to compelling propositions to demonstrate the impact of gifts and will inspire more people to continue supporting for the long-term.

CARE International UK has approximately 100,000 active supporters, including those who make loans through Lendwithcare. Yet legacy income currently makes up less than 10% of our public fundraising, there is huge potential to scale this. You’ll be a confident and strategic manager who is able to pro-actively put your data and insight driven plans into action. You’ll enjoy working in a high performing team, managing multiple projects and will have experience of managing agencies and building internal and external relationships.
