About the role:

The Junior Content Producer is a new role that will play a pivotal role in supporting the Content Team to deliver Drinkaware’s multimedia content strategy by creating engaging multimedia content. The role is key in ensuring that the public can make conscious, informed choices about alcohol and can find help if they need it.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Content

• Manage the Content Team’s production Monday boards, to ensure tasks are assigned, tracked and deadlines are met
• Manage content requests in line with the content development process
• Support the Creative Content Lead and Senior Digital Content Officer with digital and printed content production and delivery
• Support the Operations and Programmes, Partnerships and Research teams with content creation and delivery

Social media

• Support the Senior Digital Content Officer with the delivery of the social media plan by scheduling social content in line with our content panning cycles
• Build relationships with specific audiences through community management across social media channels, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, which includes finding influencers/advocates/case studies for Drinkaware
• Monitor social channels for reactive engagement opportunities and flag any reputational risks emerging on socials
• Proactively stay ahead of social media trends and ensure our channels are affectively developed and maintained

Contribute

• Support the Creative Content Lead with the creation and delivery of website content and email marketing, ensuring this feeds directly into the overarching content strategy. 
• Ensure the website content is accurate and up to date
• Support the Digital Marketing Manager with SEO admin

About the role

This role within our external affairs team focuses on securing impact for our work through the management and delivery of effective communications, events, campaigns and public affairs work.

This varied role involves management of L&W’s digital communications, press and media work, stakeholder relations and events throughout the year. The role also involves supporting the delivery of L&W’s flagship campaign, Get the Nation Learning, and supporting L&W’s public affairs work. The postholder will work closely with the senior management and research and development teams to develop and deliver effective communications and influencing strategies, and to support fundraising through sponsorship of our events and other communications activities. The role involves working with our team in Wales who lead on campaigns and activities in Wales.

The ideal candidate will need experience of working in a busy communications role; experience of developing and delivering in person and online events; a track record of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels; flexibility and adaptability; excellent project management skills; and an interest in adult learning, employment and skills policy. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Communications

• Secure press and media coverage for L&W’s work, including proactively identifying opportunities to promote our work, responding to press and media enquiries, and working with colleagues to launch research reports and other outputs.
•  Lead the development of regular and ad-hoc external communications, including press releases, newsletters and marketing communications.
•  Manage our social media channels and website, producing regular, high-quality content.
•  Ensure all activities are monitored and evaluated to assess impact and to inform future work.

Events

• Manage the planning and delivery of L&W’s in-person and online events, including our annual Employment and Skills Convention.
• Work with internal and external colleagues to develop content for L&W’s events, including securing high-profile speakers.
• Secure sponsorship for L&W’s events.
• Ensure all activities are monitored and evaluated to assess impact and to inform future work.

Campaigns

• Support the delivery of Get the Nation Learning, including national awards, Get the Nation Learning Week, and regional adult learning awards.
• Work with colleagues to secure sponsorship for Get the Nation Learning.

Policy and public affairs

• Support the planning and delivery of L&W’s public affairs activities, with a focus on UK Parliament, UK Government, Mayoral Combined Authorities, and local government in England, in order to raise our profile and deliver impact.
• Undertake regular public affairs activities, including: horizon scanning and planning for upcoming parliamentary activity; writing to Ministers and MPs; coordinating parliamentary briefings, parliamentary questions and consultation responses; and other policy influencing opportunities.
• Ensure all activities are monitored and evaluated to assess impact and to inform future work.

Other duties

• Line manage staff according to organisational need.
• Undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility for this post.

About you

Essential criteria:

• Excellent communication (oral and written), good copywriting, with the ability to tailor communications to a range of audiences.
• Proficient in MS Office.
•  Strong social media skills including the use of platforms such as Bluesky and LinkedIn, with proficiency in the use of web and social media analytics tools, such as Google Analytics.

As our communications officer, you will join our communications and marketing team. Part of our external relations division, the team play an essential role, crafting engaging communications that help achieve our mission and supporting colleagues across the charity to do the same.

What the job involves

Prostate Cancer UK are launching the most ambitious fundraising appeal in our history, and we’re looking for a brilliant Appeal Manager to help make it happen. In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of the campaign, working closely with the Head of Appeal to keep everything on track and running smoothly. You’ll coordinate plans, manage timelines and milestones, and help make sure everyone involved knows what’s happening and when.

You’ll drive forward the creation of campaign materials too, from website content and videos to newsletters and donor content. What we want from you

You’ll have experience of working on a major fundraising appeal, capital campaign or within a high-performing fundraising team and know what it takes to deliver brilliant donor experiences. A sharp eye for detail and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential. You’ll enjoy working across teams, building strong relationships and making sure nothing slips through the net. The Data & Insights Manager will be a key point of contact for colleagues across the organisation, playing an instrumental role in shaping how we gather, manage and utilise data at Amref UK. They will be critical in providing expertise and establishing new ways of working across keys Amref UK teams, including Supporter Engagement, Programmes & Strategic Partnerships, Finance, Operations and Senior Management.  The postholder will be the organisational expert in Microsoft Dynamics working with senior leaders, Amref HQ ICT, Amref’s global Fundraising & Marketing Development team (FMD) and third-party vendors to develop, implement and integrate processes and reporting tools that aid analysis and insight.  They will be responsible for delivering improved functionality and system upgrades while maintaining data integrity and compliance requirements.  Expertise in relational database design and familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Analytics would also be an advantage.

To be successful in this role, the post holder will need to be a team player who brings a combination of technical expertise, communication skills and business change experience.

The role

As Philanthropy Manager, you will shape our philanthropic strategy, develop a new prospect pipeline and secure long-term support from individuals, family foundations, and wealth intermediaries. 

You will work closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation, to identify funding priorities and opportunities for donors. You’ll ensure we develop and deliver a long-term philanthropy strategy, building and managing relationships with wealth managers, private client advisers and networks that can introduce and connect donors to Family Fund. 

You will accurately record prospect and donor activity on our CRM system, maintaining clear pipelines and forecasts, and producing high-quality reports to monitor progress and impact.

The role     

This is a pivotal role that will shape and drive the growth and diversification of our clean energy access work, including our flagship Low Energy Inclusive Appliances (LEIA) programme and the Efficiency for Access Coalition, managed in partnership with CLASP and funded by UK Aid via the Transforming Energy Access Platform and the IKEA Foundation.

What you’ll do

Together with the Senior Programme Manager, you’ll co-lead the Strategy, Policy and Partnerships work within LEIA, with a focus on strategy development and solidifying our role as a thought leader and key influencer. You’ll provide strategic direction and sector expertise to the energy access team to inform, support and guide programme delivery, ensuring a cross-workstream effort towards the achievement of overarching goals. Also you’ll lead the delivery of a range of strategic projects and stakeholder coordination activities.

Working with colleagues and partners you’ll lead the development of innovative and distinctive concepts and support fundraising efforts with a focus on initiatives that respond to needs, add value and deliver impact. You’ll nurture key stakeholder relationships and build and cultivate strategic partnerships to realise our strategic goals within and across key sectors, including energy, agriculture and humanitarian.

You’ll be an ambassador for Energy Saving Trust work, both internally and externally, working with colleagues to build our profile and position us for future growth.

• You have experience of realising new opportunities and fundraising from international donors. You understand the challenges that exist and possess a creative flair for designing high-impact initiatives to overcome them, in partnership with others.

• You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and like your work to be collaborative and fun! You’re prepared for regular international travel, are experienced at working with diverse people from different cultures, backgrounds and fields, and comfortable working remotely, in geographically dispersed teams.

Programme Development and Delivery

● Supporting school pupils and communities to drive improvements to their local food environments and school food environments

● Helping facilitate youth-led events, workshops, and campaigns focused on food system change

● Supporting with the monitoring, reporting and evaluation of these two programmes Youth Engagement and Voice

● Seeking out meaningful opportunities for young people to engage with and influence decision-makers in Scotland

Policy and Advocacy

● Actively seeking out opportunities to champion Scottish policy developments in health, education, and food systems
