In November, it is pancreatic cancer awareness month and our Engagement, Marketing & Communications team has been instrumental in helping to raise awareness about this terrible disease through our digital platforms and socials!

About the role:

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team! You will have an opportunity to combine your passion to help our fantastic cause and use your Digital marketing skills to transform our audience’s experiences.

You will help us to reach and inspire more people affected by pancreatic cancer, delivering a measurable and positive impact through our digital experience.

You’ll manage the day-to-day management of our digital activity and line manage the Digital Engagement and Experience Officers. You will work in partnership with teams across the organisation to achieve exceptional results.

About you:

We’re looking for an experienced digital marketer with a passion for storytelling, who puts audiences at the heart of the digital experience.

You’ll be an expert in digital advertising, and unremittingly data-driven, with the drive and attention to detail to be constantly optimising to make sure our digital marketing delivers the best possible results. If you’re the sort of person who loves that feeling when you see ROI improve as a result of a change you’ve made, the stage is set for you to have a transformational impact and play an important role in helping us take on pancreatic cancer.  You’ll be curious about digital, embracing new opportunities and constantly seeking ways to improve and develop our marketing and communications activity.

We need a supportive and motivating line manager, able to get the best out of your team. You’ll also be adept at managing a busy workload - juggling both day-to-day activity and discrete projects - and building excellent relationships across the charity.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, yet for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case. And, with treatment and care affected by the pandemic, the situation has only got worse.

Pancreatic Cancer UK is a national charity dedicated to taking on this injustice using every possible means. We’re supporting people with pancreatic cancer now, campaigning, and funding vital research to transform the future.

Other Terms & Conditions

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday).

Location: London SE1 (temporarily remote working from home)
