Future Frontiers exists to ensure young people from disadvantaged backgrounds fulfil their potential at school and when transitioning to education, employment or training at age 16 and 18.

We are an award-winning education charity. Our aim is to transform pupils’ engagement with learning and ensure more young people from disadvantaged backgrounds progress to sustained destinations in education, employment or training. By partnering with secondary schools and forward-thinking businesses, we provide young people aged 14-18 with a programme of face-to-face career coaching and opportunities to engage with relevant sector role models.

We are now in an exciting position to be able to scale significantly and are looking for an exceptional individual to help us deliver an ambitious growth strategy.We currently work with over 60 business partners in a variety of sectors, from some of the UK’s fastest growing startups to major banks to household names such as John Lewis, Allen & Overy and The Trainline.These partners directly support our delivery by funding and hosting our coaching programmes.

The Senior Business Partnerships Manager will be responsible for developing new and existing business partnerships across a range of sectors. It is varied and exciting position, critical to enabling Future Frontiers to reach thousands of young people each year. We are seeking an exceptional strategic-thinker and relationship-builder with a strong track record of success in a sales, partnerships or business development role.

We’ll trust you to…

·work strategically with the Head of Partnerships to deliver an ambitious partnership strategy and drive growth.

·take charge of the end-to-end business partnerships process including new business and partnership retention. You will be at the forefront of cultivating creative ways to develop our prospecting, pitching and retention across a range of sectors. 

·maintain your own pipeline of new businesses: this will include pitching to senior stakeholders and providing compelling reasons to partner with Future Frontiers.

·maintain existing partnership relationships through strong account management to build a pipeline of long-term repeat partnerships.

·deliver effective communications plans to existing partners.

·use our CRM system (Salesforce) to track partnership activity and report against department KPIs.

·support with cross-department projects as directed by the Head of Partnerships.

·The opportunity to line manage will emerge as our team grows.

Are you someone who…

·has a proven track record of success in a sales or partnerships role - both securing new business and growing accounts?

·has proven expertise in thinking creatively to generate new partnerships and develop existing ones?

·is highly motivated to reach and exceed personal and team targets?

·is an excellent relationship-builder: persuasive, dynamic, diplomatic, and at ease interacting with senior stakeholders in a business environment?

·is an exceptional communicator– both written, in person and over the phone?

·is a natural networker - alert to new partnership opportunities with the confidence to pursue them?

·has excellent planning and project management skills?

·is able to juggle conflicting internal and external stakeholder needs?

·is a self-starter and willing to get stuck in and go above and beyond to grow an exciting start up charity?
