Job description

The successful candidate should be based in the North of England and able to travel nationwide.

We are looking for a motivated, flexible and passionate individual ideally with previous experience in the field, or otherwise keen to transfer their clinical skills and knowledge into a new setting. Experience in either neurology paediatrics or community work would allow you to utilise transferable skills A position with the team offers an opportunity to develop your clinical skills in all areas of postural and mobility assessments and related equipment prescription. You will work as an autonomous practitioner; responsible for your own case load.

A flexible but organised approach is required to meet the varied needs of all children and young people who apply for equipment through Whizz-Kidz. Clinicians within the service are responsible for the holistic assessment and prescription of buggies, standard and active user wheelchairs, specialist wheelchairs, powered wheelchairs, associated postural seating and recreational equipment.
