About the Role
An experienced Relationship Builder, you’ll represent the Charity with our national partners and licensees, ensuring we build strong and lasting relationships. You will work collaboratively across Help for Heroes, building relationships to take a holistic approach to relationship management, maximising all opportunities. You will develop and fulfil robust stewardship plans, identifying opportunities for growth, stewarding partners to increased and continued support of our work. Main Responsibilities

About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced fundraiser to join a successful and thriving team. About the role
We are looking for someone who wants to make a real and lasting difference to people’s lives, taking the lead on generating the income required to deliver the Farm’s services and maintain our central functions and infrastructure. You must be able to inspire us and our partners and spearhead our public affairs work, including through our National Delivery Plan to unite action to end digital poverty by 2030.
We bring together charities, corporates and government to address the underlying issues stopping families gaining full access to digital services such as education, healthcare and employment. We seek social change through our National Delivery Plan, whilst also delivering solutions in local areas that help real people and provide evidence for change.
This is an exciting, high profile and fast-paced role, joining our small team and working alongside partners, National Delivery Committee members and our wider stakeholders to effect real change for people. You will report directly to the Chief Executive, working alongside our Head of External Affairs.

About the role.

The Position:
Our outstanding charity client is recruiting an Interim Head of Fundraising (Election). This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in leading and managing their fundraising initiatives, helping them to build strong foundations for the future, liaising high-profile donors, and maximising on the increased profile and visibility they will have during this election year.
You will be a key member of the management team and will work closely with teams across the organisation and their high-profile, experienced board to shape organisational ambition and exceptional fundraising practice.
You will also lead an ambitious multi-disciplinary team of fundraisers across all income areas.
Requirements:
- Significant experience of fundraising gained at a senior level, with a proven track record of securing and grant managing six-figure+, multi-year funding from charitable trusts, companies and/or individuals.
- Confident in managing key donor relationships.
- Comfortable directing and supporting senior staff to engage in fundraising.
- Good knowledge of and networks in the UK fundraising space, including working with major donors, charitable trusts and individual giving.
- Experience of working with donor CRM systems to support high quality relationship management, preferably Salesforce.
- Available to start immediately.
Arts Emergency – Head of Fundraising
Location: Home or office based - London N4 or Manchester M1.
Salary: £40,000 per annum FTC.

Arts Emergency, a mentoring charity and support network aiming to address the inequalities in the creative and cultural sectors, is looking for an experienced and motivated fundraiser to provide leadership and management for fundraising activities.
Since 2013, Arts Emergency has been providing 16-25 year olds in London, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and beyond with a trained mentor working in their field of interest. Mentors help Young Talent set goals, explore their passions and make decisions about higher education, training and careers. After they complete a year of mentoring, Young Talent can continue to access opportunities, advice, resources and paid work from the Arts Emergency Network until they turn 26. The network is made up of thousands of cultural professionals who’ve all offered to share crucial gateways into hard to crack industries like TV, publishing and architecture with young people.
This position will be responsible for raising the necessary income to ensure Arts Emergency’s high-quality, person focused, asset-based services for young people are sustainably funded and can
scale. This is a new role that reports to the Director of Fundraising & Marketing, overseeing a diverse income portfolio including individual giving, major donors, trusts and foundations, corporate donations, commercial income and community fundraising. The Head of Fundraising will have a particular focus on managing and growing the charity’s income from individuals and organisations, with an aim to increase overall fundraising to £1.25m in 2026.
Arts Emergency are seeking candidates that are passionate about building and developing strong teams and who can implement ambitious plans for funding work by making best use of their large community of young people, volunteers and organisations across the Arts, Humanities and in the Cultural and Creative industries. You will be an inclusive leader with the ability to inspire and motivate others, with a strong understanding of charitable income streams gained from experience working at a similar level in a small organisation or in a senior position within a larger organisation/team. North Bristol & South Gloucestershire (NBSG) Foodbank has operated for 12 years, providing emergency food parcels to people in crisis in the local community. Recently, we have shifted our focus to go beyond food and try to tackle the root causes of food insecurity. One goal of our new strategy is to change minds, change policy and create empathy about poverty. The Campaign Coordinator is responsible for working towards this goal by delivering the Trussell Trust’s (TT) influencing and mobilising work during the General Election (GE). You will do this by building strong relationships with other food banks in the Bristol & South Gloucestershire area. Campaign Coordinators implement TT’s national GE strategy, by using Organising techniques to put pressure on Prospective Parliamentary Candidates (PPCs) in each Combined Local Authority.
You will lead local community teams of people who support ending the need for food banks, to secure commitments from your PPCs to ‘prioritise the problem of people going without essentials if re/elected, acknowledging the role social security needs to play in tackling it.’
This role is funded by TT as part of their GE strategy, and you will be part of a network of Campaign Coordinators around the UK doing this work. You will serve as the link between NBSG Foodbank and the Mobilisation team at TT, as we build a movement to end the need for food banks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

To build trusted relationships with food banks during (pre and post) UK General Election. You will hold 121 conversations with each food bank in the Bristol & South Gloucestershire area and ensure there is clear communication between the food banks.

To support teams of community volunteers. You will have 121’s with: food bank staff, volunteers, partner organisations and stakeholders in each community to develop community bases for your campaign work.

To lead effective door-knocking teams in your community. You will door knock with your community campaign team to drum up support for the campaign, provide members of the public literature on food bank use in their local community, and invite people to their local hustings.

To help each of your community campaign teams organise a local hustings. You will ensure that your community campaign teams: attend national TT webinars, receive national guidance on how to approach PPCs, understand the TT legal GE guidance, understand the logistics of organising a hustings, ensure that the hustings is as accessible as possible and ensure that the voices of people with lived experience are heard through the hustings.

To develop good relationships with local press and media outlets. You will work alongside National TT colleagues to find key press and media contacts in your area, ensuring your community campaign teams get coverage for their hard work.

To deliver the local campaigning strategy working with food bank staff, volunteers and clients.

To work with the Organising and Local Mobilisation (OLM) team in TT and engage with the training and support on offer, including work with other Campaign Coordinators in the TT network.

To liaise with the Foodbank Manager regularly, providing updates on campaigns work, coordinating its integration into the entire NBSG team, to ensure the work is sustainable.

The main purpose of this role is to support 1625 to raise vital unrestricted funds and pro-bono support, so the charity is able to deliver life changing projects to young people across the Southwest.
You will be pro-actively building relationships with businesses, individuals and community groups around Bristol and the surrounding areas. You will co-ordinate and attend fundraising events and ensure that young people are at the centre of all of our fundraising efforts. We also have two regular team office days per week.
