We are looking for a capable, proactive person to support the programme from initial mobilisation through to an eventual large-scale trial. The Senior Programme Support Officer will support the Head of Programmes to develop, mobilise and deliver Building Futures. The postholder will take the lead on specific tasks, and coordinate the work of the wider cross-organisational Building Futures team.
You will liaise with external partners and stakeholders, as well as supporting multiple internal customers and workstreams, often to tight deadlines. You will support key external engagement processes, in particular our programme Steering Group and Youth Advisory Group, working with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of these meetings and capture key decisions and inputs to feed back into programme delivery.
This is primarily a project management role, enabling a new cross-functional team to work effectively and efficiently together on a complex, fast-moving and high profile programme. As well as dealing with tasks as they emerge, you will work across the team to keep track of progress, identifying any issues and risks, and enabling the Head of Programmes and other internal stakeholders to gain an overview of the programme as a whole.

Father Hudson’s Care (FHC) is the social care agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham. We require an experienced senior manager to lead our Community Projects Department. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Senior Management Team and be part of a regional charity with a very diverse range of services.
Suitable candidates will have extensive experience in developing and managing services/projects in a community setting and in management of senior staff. With a proven track record in securing funding, you will have a good understanding of a wide range of income streams and be able to manage complex budgets. This is essential with a department of over 77 staff / 200 volunteers and an overall budget of over £2 million with multiple funding streams.
Our community projects reach out to individuals who are marginalised and in need, including asylum seekers, refugees and migrants, older people and individuals experiencing homelessness. The projects are diverse in provision and size, are delivered by staff and volunteer teams and provide a breadth of services in community settings including social support, advice, practical help, emergency and longer-term accommodation. We are recruiting for a Childrens Independent Domestic Violence Advocate who will be working closely with children and their mothers who are living in our refuges escaping domestic violence and other forms of violence and abuse, to provide personal welfare support and ensure that our clients are provided with a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment.
The post holder will support children and young people from the age of 11 – 17 years old who have been affected by domestic abuse, including teenage relationship abuse. The job involves, supporting children and young people from the point of crisis to ensure their short-term and long-term safety; reduce risk; enable them to access community support services and achieve their goals. To increase the ability of partner agencies including schools to recognise and respond appropriately and safely to young people affected by domestic abuse.

The key duties of these roles are as follows:
- Ensure the Councils Finance Business Partnering service is fit for purpose in order to deliver on all aspects of operational financial management.
- Operate at a strategic level, building strong relationships with internal and external partners and being a key and active member of senior management forums.
- Financial oversight for all duties required under the CIPFA compliance framework including financial forecasting, business cases, modelling, budget setting and Final account preparation for the teams under the roles remit.
- Drive and support the delivery of productivity and efficiency improvement across the Council.
- Ensure the provision of high quality advice, information, interpretation and solutions to budget holders to underpin effective decision making and meaningful performance management.

The successful candidate will have:
- Full CCAB or equivalent qualification, with evidence of continued professional development.
- Post qualification experience in a large/complex organisation.
- Ideally, a background working in a local authority, although candidates without will still be considered.
- Extensive experience of strategic and operational planning.
- Substantial leadership and management experience including proven experience in leading and motivating a team to deliver accurate and timely information.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate to people at all levels.
- Enthusiastic and proven ability to establish and continue good working relationships.
- Ability to understand new concepts and translate business objectives into strategic and operation activity.

The post holder will support the non-abusing parent and their children (ages 4 – 10 years old) who have been affected by domestic abuse. You will be supporting children from the point of crisis to ensure their short-term and long-term safety; reduce risk; enable them to access community support services and achieve their goals.
This post also requires the post holder to facilitate a coordinated multi agency response with a wide range of statutory and voluntary services and to co-locate with local children’s centers to open up pathways to the service and maximise local resources and to manage a rolling a caseload of client.
Travel is required across Warwickshire and therefore the use of a car is essential to this role.
