Working location: mostly remote work with some travel required. Based in the central area of the South West region you will deliver a face-to-face service to clients in their own home or safe meeting place across the Dorset, Avon, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire area  as well as providing support by Teams, phone, email or other means to suit the service user. We take a person-centred approach so the amount of travel will vary depending on your caseload at the time. You’re in control of your own diary. 

Why this role is important: Every 20 minutes, someone is killed or seriously injured on UK roads. For families affected, the emotional and practical challenges are immense. As a Caseworker, you will provide trauma-informed care to individuals and families suffering from the sudden bereavement or life-altering injury of a loved one. Working mostly remotely, with some home visits to service users, you’ll offer vital emotional and practical support—including helping them access therapeutic resources, financial assistance, and guidance through the complexities of medical and legal processes.

Who we're looking for 

Full training will be provided under the guidance of our dedicated Training Officer. Our induction program has been developed to equip caseworkers with the skills they need to provide high quality support to road victims and covers topics such as being trauma-informed, safeguarding and risk management. We're open to candidates from all sorts of backgrounds, as long as you're a compassionate, self-starter with a background in providing high-quality emotional support and advocacy. Your experience in roles within the NHS, any health and social care, road safety, counselling, the police and family liaison officers, lived experience or any type of casework could make you an ideal candidate. 

Essential Requirements: 

• A full, clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (travel expenses are reimbursed) 

• Resident in the central area of the South West Region. 

• Experience delivering frontline support, preferably involving sudden bereavement or heightened vulnerabilities. 
• Strong advocacy and research skills to liaise with multiple organisations on behalf of service users. 
• Competency in I.T skills to work remotely.

About the role:

The Finance and Grant Controller will manage all financial aspects of WaterAid’s Multi-country Urban Water Project, ensuring rigorous financial oversight, compliance with donor requirements, and alignment with organisational financial policies. This is a bold initiative aiming to raise $40 million and reach two million people with clean water in urban areas across six anchor countries: Colombia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Mozambique, Bangladesh, and Cambodia.

In this role, you will:

1. Financial Monitoring and Reporting

• Prepare and review all financial reports in line with specific contract requirements and deadlines
• Monitor project budgets, tracking actual expenditures against budget allocations and flagging variances to the project team
• Monitor movement in exchange rates and local currency budget variations

2. Budget and Forecasting Development & Grant Support

• Assist program staff in preparing detailed budgets in each country project
• Deliver regular reforecasts, ensuring realistic timing of spend
• Conduct cost allocations and ensure appropriate coding of expenses

3. Compliance and Controls

• Review contracts and grant agreements to identify financial requirements, restrictions, and deliverables

To be successful, you will need:

Technical Qualifications and Skills

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
• Experience in the use of SUN, or a similar multi-dimensional accounting system.
• Experience in managing programme or project finance funded by institutional donors ( e.g. USAID, FCDO or other reputable organisation)
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skill
• Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI
• Knowledge and experience of donor fund management in an international context

Working closely with local volunteers (Community Champions), residents and partners, you’ll co-produce a wide range of weekly activities that tackle health inequalities, strengthen community ties, and amplify local voices. Activities could include mental health workshops, family play sessions, health information pop-ups, gardening projects, and community cafés - no two weeks will look the same. You’ll recruit, support and nurture a team of passionate volunteers, ensuring they grow into confident community leaders.

A key part of the role involves building strong relationships with local services, schools, faith groups and community venues, and making sure resident feedback shapes everything we do. You’ll coordinate themed campaigns, facilitate listening sessions, promote the programme creatively across the estates, and track the outcomes and stories behind our impact. This is a hands-on, outward-facing role requiring creativity, adaptability and strong organisational skills. We’re looking for someone who is a natural facilitator and relationship-builder, with a passion for health equity and social justice. Based at Barnes House with some hybrid working from home, you’ll also be regularly out in the neighbourhood - walking, talking, connecting, and helping residents lead change where it matters most.

You’ll lead the coordination and delivery of a vibrant, resident-led health and wellbeing programme across Highgate Newtown and surrounding estates. Working alongside local volunteers (Community Champions), residents and partners, you’ll co-produce weekly activities that tackle health inequalities, build community connections, and amplify local voices.

From mental health workshops to family play sessions, health info pop-ups, community cafés, gardening projects, and seasonal events, no two weeks will look the same. You’ll nurture volunteer leaders, build partnerships, and ensure resident feedback drives everything we do. This is a hands-on role with space for creativity, innovation, and real local impact.

At an exciting and key stage in our journey we have the opportunity for Youth and Community Directors to join our team supporting Oasis’ youth and community work in neighbourhoods in the following regions;

- London and South East (North, Central and South London and Kent - five local Oasis charities)

- North West (Greater Manchester – two local charities, and two regionwide youth violence contracts)

- North East (NE Lincs, Humber, Bradford and Sheffield – four local charities)

With accountability to the Oasis CEO for Youth and Community the role of the regional Youth and Community Director will have three main functions:

1 Strategic management oversight of local Youth and Community teams

2 Regional development, working alongside other functions within the Oasis family

3 Being part of the national Youth and Community leadership team

The Youth and Community Director will have strategic management oversight of local Youth and Community teams in the region, providing accountability and support to the local leaders and charity boards. This responsibility area falls into two categories; those the Director is directly responsible for, and those they are responsible for ensuring are carried out by those within their region.

We’re looking for a Junior Developer to join our Technology and Solutions team at Prostate Cancer UK on a fixed term basis. 

As part of our Technology landscape, we have invested substantial amount of time and resources to benefit in robotic automation using a market leading new platform TOCA.IO. Our energetic IT team works at the forefront of automation, delivering solutions that streamline operations and enhance productivity.

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the full development lifecycle projects You’ll work alongside our small internal IT team, reporting directly to the Solutions Manager and supported by a SQL Developer and Business Analyst, contributing to the design, development, testing, and deployment of IT systems. You’ll be developing and maintaining automation scripts and software applications.

This is a new senior leadership role at IRMO, created to strengthen the coordination and development of our growing programmes and services. As our work has expanded, so has its complexity. Our trained assessors carry out a comprehensive risk assessment to identify potential causes of falls and hazards in the home and can arrange for stair rails, grab handles and other necessary aids to be supplied and/or fitted, free of charge. The project can provide ongoing telephone support for up to six weeks to monitor the risk of further falls post engagement.
