An exciting opportunity has arisen for two key individuals to join the team at Basis Yorkshire as a Sexual Exploitation Specialist (16+). You will be providing bespoke trauma informed 1-1 and group work for women who have experienced, or who are experiencing sexual exploitation.

About this key role
Our successful candidate will assess referred clients, with reference to St Giles Trust assessment practices, and produce support and risk management plans based on these assessments, promoting inter-agency collaboration in the assessment and planning process. You will be expected to deliver a holistic support service, working independently or with colleagues as the situation dictates, providing practical help such as social and housing support, education, training and employment options, benefits work and debt advice.
We will also rely on you to develop and maintain relationships with referral agencies, ensuring a steady flow of appropriate referrals onto the scheme, and with regional agencies, including police and social services. Closing cases efficiently and positively, identifying a survival plan for the client that will identify agencies that can be used for on-going support and agencies that can be used if serious problems develop in the future, is also an essential aspect of this role.
What we are looking for
- To have worked on an offender-led support project, had personal experience of the criminal justice system, served a prison sentence, or still be serving a prison sentence in a prison within reach of Bradford
- Experience in negotiation with partner agencies to establish links to further aims of the project
- Experience of engaging successfully with people with challenging or complex needs
- To have a relevant qualification to a good standard, or be working towards one
- Sound knowledge of ‘County Lines’ and the Government’s Prevent programme
- Knowledge of services for offenders and patterns of offending in Leeds borough/s
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, verbal and written
- A flexible, collaborative and professional approach to your work.

The Role
Reporting to the Stroke Association Service Delivery Coach, the coordinator will work with the local Health and Social Care services to receive referrals and support stroke survivors and their carers. You will:
- Have an in-depth knowledge of cerebral palsy, its causes, health implications, therapies, and available support due to a personal lived experience.
- Have experience and up to date knowledge of current issues that affect disabled people and those around them, specifically people with cerebral palsy.
- Have at least two years’ experience working in a customer focused environment.
- Have excellent communication skills with an understanding of different needs and being able to respond to these accordingly.
- Have a strong ability to convey complex information in an accessible way and engage diverse audiences.
- Be an excellent communicator who demonstrates effective person-centred listening, empathy, and probing skills to respond to underlying issues and assist customers to make informed choices.
- Be highly organised with the capacity to prioritise workloads effectively by using your own initiative. Ability to engage groups of people and individuals on the subject of cerebral palsy and disability.
- Have direct experience of the barriers that society creates for disabled people. Bringing drive and enthusiasm to the role, demonstrating that you care passionately about improving the lives of disabled people.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke. About the role:
You will lead and support a team of Homicide Family Caseworkers to meet VS and Homicide Service standards and contractual requirements. You will be able to demonstrate the excellent organisational skills essential to managing a demanding and diverse workload and will have experience of achieving key performance indicators, as set by the Operation managers and Deputy Head of Service.
We pride ourselves on providing exceptional trauma informed advocacy and support to all service users and you will have an understanding of the impact that trauma and bereavement can have on individuals. You will have excellent communication skills and will support the Operation Managers to maintain the highest standards of service delivery, across a widely geographically dispersed team. A driving license and use of a car are both essential as well as access to public transport. You will be reimbursed for all travel costs.
You will also enjoy working closely with a range of stakeholders (including Police Family Liaison Officers and Senior Investigation Officers within the Major Crime teams) and will have experience in building constructive working relationships, focused on delivering the best service for vulnerable service users. About the role:
This role is home working based with travel in the West Midlands area of England. As a Homicide Service Children and Young Person caseworker you will be:
- Delivering a specialist service to children and young people (CYP) bereaved by homicide, and for those CYP who have witnessed a homicide

We are currently recruiting for a F2F Fundraising Performance Coach's. The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of excellent fundraising results and fundraising compliance standards and specifically the delivery of performance improvements in our F2F fundraisers through coaching, training, and continuous development. The role will also involve direct fundraising where you will be expected to meet a personal target.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for coaching the performance of multiple teams in the region that will consist of lone workers, pairs of fundraisers to bigger teams as the income plan increases.
- Responsible for an individual fundraising target and set of KPI’s that include inspiring people to become long-term monthly donors, generating income through contactless one-off donations and acquiring newsletter prospecting sign ups in a range of locations including residential door-to-door, town and city centres, private venues, and events and more commonly on our private land, the canal and river Towpaths.
- Acting as a hands-on fundraiser who leads by example, delivering fundraising income through signing up Friends and generating contactless income whilst demonstrating the Canal & River Trust ‘s values and behaviours.
- Generating income and being present on-site to visit fundraising teams, fundraise with them, cover sickness absence, coach performance, provide training & development of fundraisers, reinforce our culture of health & safety, embed compliance standards.
- Provide phone coaching and in-person coaching of fundraisers to support meeting their targets and KPI’s and in individual cases working with fundraisers to improve their results from their current level of performance to the required standard by equipping them with the technical and psychological training to work to their very best.

Responsibilities will include:
- Act as the lead data specialist for the NYA.
- Work with colleagues to address specific queries and support projects.
- Create technical briefings to a high standard that support our broader activities.
- Develop technical reports and analysis using digital tools (Power BI).
- Facilitate the collection and analysis of data from key initiatives like the Youth Work Census and Register to enhance understanding of the youth sector.
- Initiate and manage focused research projects, identifying data gaps and crafting innovative research solutions under the guidance of the Head of Knowledge.
- Analyse diverse datasets, including NYA and public information, to generate insightful reports and findings on youth work and young people.
- Spearhead the "Measure What Matters" initiative to document NYA's impact, covering both funded and non-funded activities.
- Create compelling reports with Power BI, showcasing the impact of youth work services in England through data narratives.
- Provide the Head of Knowledge with essential data and analysis to support strategic insights and decisions.
- Collaborate with the Research Associate and other team members, offering analytical support to advance the NYA's strategic goals.
- Rapidly address data analysis requests from across the organisation, leveraging public and internal datasets relevant to the youth sector.

The Role
Yorkshire Cancer Research is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Manager to develop and deliver the Charity’s learning and development strategy.
As a member of the People Team, supporting the Head of People, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of learning and development within the charity, identifying learning priorities and translating these into engaging L&D initiatives, aligned to delivering the Charity’s strategic aims.
Specifically, you will:

Develop and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy that drives a culture of employee led learning.

Lead the execution of the Charity’s L&D strategy, organising all planned L&D activities, reporting monthly / quarterly performance against agreed KPI’s.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and assess individual and organisational learning needs and develops tailored learning solutions that support delivery of the Charity’s strategic aims

Actively promote L&D opportunities and learner ‘stories’ to inspire employees and reinforce a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Lead the EDI agenda for L&D, ensuring all interventions are inclusive, reporting on key metrics within the L&D strategy

Act as the ‘go to’ lead on learning and development, providing advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.

Manage cross-departmental and cross-functional relationships and activities to ensure learning and development is well integrated into wider team objectives

Provide guidance to employees seeking professional development opportunities, offering advice on career paths and recommending relevant L&D resources / opportunities

Prepare, track and manage the learning and development budget effectively, reporting monthly progress to the Head of People.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:

To have proven experience working in a similar role at a similar level such as a Learning and Development Specialist.

To be CIPD Qualified (level 5 minimum)
-
To have a recognised coaching qualification (e.g. ICF) is desirable
-
To have experience of end-to-end design and delivery of training programmes, including undertaking training needs analysis and measuring training outcomes
-
To have experience of developing an L&D strategy that supports the delivery of business objectives
-
To have experience of designing and implementing learning solutions that are inclusive and meet the need of the organisation
-
To be confident in sourcing high-quality, and engaging e-learning or video modules or facilitating the development of learning materials to meet required needs.

To have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships on a one-to-one basis and to different sized audiences

To be a strong facilitator / deliverer of training
-
To have high levels of computer literacy with comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.

To have strong project management and organisational skills.
