The Role:

The UK based Project Officer / Executive Assistant role is a newly created position, reporting to the UK Director, to support CEI’s rapidly growing UK team.  As a key member of the UK team the Project Officer / Executive Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the UK Director and to the UK team, spanning project support, setting up and managing systems and processes, Executive Assistant support and supporting staff recruitment and HR.

This role supports the delivery of essential projects with tight timeframes, ensuring the Centre’s operations and business activities run smoothly. The Project Officer / Executive Assistant position is a critical role for an expanding business and offers room for growth and development in the coming years. This is a varied role that requires an experienced person, comfortable dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and managing competing demands, able to work with accuracy and speed, and with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. As a member of a global organisation there may be occasions when work and meetings will be conducted outside regular business hours, and this role may involve working on projects and initiatives across CEI’s offices.

About You:

Our ideal candidate is a smart, savvy, and motivated individual.  You’ll be able to demonstrate outstanding skills based on previous experience in these areas:

  • Experience in an operational support role in a professional services or consultancy business.
  • Relevant work experience in coordinating or managing HR activities and processes.
  • Proven communication skills – written and verbal – with strong attention to detail, and an ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills and experience managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with competing demands.
  • Strong diary management skills and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly PowerPoint.
  • High levels of attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills.

Qualifications/Accreditations:

  • Relevant qualification in business administration, human resources, or other relevant disciplines is desirable
