ACCT UK is a national youth charity dedicated to improving the life chances of young people. The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools. About the Role  

The Head of Finance will support the Director of Finance and Resources in providing strategic financial leadership across the charity. They will oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure robust financial management, and deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to support decision-making. The postholder will play a key role in safeguarding the charity’s financial sustainability and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Essential 

• A relevant professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). 

• Experience gained in a financial management role within a small or medium-sized organisation.

Sitting in the Community and Events Team, the Digital Events Team is responsible for securing an annual income of £2.1 million from online fundraising activities. This role is key within the team and leads on the development and longer-term growth of the organisation's digital fundraising activities so to increase funds, engagement, and awareness. Role Purpose

The Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, organising, and delivering a varied programme of impactful events for service users, volunteers, and the wider cardiomyopathy community. These include, but are not limited to, supporting logistics, planning and execution of information days, medical education events, webinars, volunteer development days, and the charity’s annual national conference.

The role covers the full lifecycle of event management, from concept and planning through to delivery and evaluation. This includes oversight of event budgets, supplier and stakeholder management, and ensuring all events are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within budget. Events will be delivered both in person and online, so confidence in managing virtual and in-person events is essential.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the charity, the Events Coordinator ensures that every event is accessible, engaging, on budget and aligned with Cardiomyopathy UK’s mission to improve the lives of people affected by cardiomyopathy.

About the opportunity:

Working closely with the Fundraising Manager and Head of Philanthropy you will support a range of fundraising activities, most predominantly through organising and coordinating fundraising events, such as half-marathons; lead annual fundraising campaigns; in addition to increasing individual giving to the charity through awareness raising and stewardship of regular and one-off donors. The Corporate Volunteering Manager plays a central role in this by managing our successful and impactful Corporate Volunteering Programme. Each year through this programme, we train hundreds of volunteers from our corporate partners to visit primary schools and share examples of how maths has helped them as adults, both in their careers and personal lives.

This crucial work helps change us to the inter-generational narrative about numeracy in the UK. Maths is not just something you ‘have to do at school’, but is a valuable skill that helps us get on at work, and manage our time and our money. The programme has been running for three years now, and this year’s activity looks set to have meaningful impact on at least 17,000 children across the UK.

You will be responsible for ensuring that volunteers are adequately trained, for recruiting appropriate schools for them to visit, and all the admin and reporting that supports the programme.

About the role

Responsibilities

Join the Marine Society & Sea Cadets as a Safety and Assurance Officer, ensuring the highest standards of safety, health, environment (SHE), and operational compliance across our units and facilities.
You’ll lead assurance inspections, maintain compliance with legislation and organisational regulations, and support the safe management of weapons, armouries, and inshore boating activities. Working closely with other members of the National Safety and Assurance Team (NSAT) and Area teams, you’ll oversee safety at events, camps, and competitions, conduct audits, and monitor incident reporting.

We are looking to appoint an Administration Lead to join the team.

Learning Disability England works hard to be a member led organisation. This role plays an important part in the day-to-day workings of the organisation by leading on the administrative management of memberships and financial functions, as well as supporting projects and events led by other members of the team. The Administration Lead’s contribution will ensure that we deliver a national movement for change and a network for members and partners.

About Us 

We are a small staff team of 7 people mostly working part time. All of us are home based and work flexibly. Annual leave  entitlement is 27 days plus Statutory Holidays pro rata.

There are different lead roles in the team but being small we support each other and work with members and partners to achieve as much as can together.

About the opportunity

As Assurance Assistant, you'll be part of our Finance & Assurance directorate, working within a team committed to being the Society's single point of truth. This is an excellent development opportunity for someone interested in building a career in assurance, risk management, or business continuity within a mission-driven environment.

You'll support the delivery of internal audit engagements, risk management activities, and business continuity arrangements that help the Society operate with confidence and integrity. Working alongside the Assurance Data & Insights Specialist, you'll help monitor recommendations, track progress, and support the team's administrative processes. This is a role where attention to detail meets meaningful impact, where your contribution helps protect the charity's ability to fund groundbreaking research and provide vital support to people facing dementia.

You'll be involved in a diverse set of activities. From contributing to audit projects and supporting risk assessments to helping improve team processes and staying aware of sector best practices. Birmingham and Solihull Women’s aid have for over 45 years supported women and children with services around domestic violence and abuse. Could you be a part of our team as we continue our mission to end domestic violence and abuse? 

The region’s leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, BSWA offers a helpline, webchat, drop in and and community support as well as emergency accommodation in six refuges across the area.  

Projects supports women in the criminal justice system, in healthcare settings, and throughout the community, offering support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. Alongside this, we also have staff offering training and consultancy to businesses and health and social care professionals alike, raising awareness on gender based violence issues.  

We seek like-minded women to join our enthusiastic team of workers, all of us passionate about the vital and valuable work we do to support women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, and tackling the wider issues of violence against women and girls. 

Key Responsibilities
To assist the refuge manager in the day-to-day running of the refuge, developing and delivering a front line service offering support, advice and guidance to women and their children living in the refuge.

*BSWA provides safe secure accommodation to some of the most vulnerable women and children therefore in order to ensure we provide maximum support and safety it is essential that our service is available to them 24/7. We do this through operating an on-site rota that covers weekends, evenings and bank holidays as well as a 24 hour call out system.

Experience Required

Experience of providing practical and emotional support to women and children affected by domestic violence

Experience of offering advice and information and advocating for service users on a range of issues including homelessness, benefits, legal, social welfare issues etc.

Experience of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with external agencies

Experience of working within safeguarding guidelines to protect and promote the well-being of children and vulnerable adults
