The role
As Partner Engagement Manager you will promote and develop the work of Family Fund in its reach to families. You’ll also contribute to its profile within the disability sector in Wales and with key Government/political stakeholders.
You will proactively work with a wide range of public, private and third sector organisations. Your goal will be to ensure Family Fund’s strategy is understood, and that mutually beneficial relationships are formed. In addition, you will seek out opportunities which allow Family Fund to achieve its key priorities, deliver added value for funders, and secure positive outcomes for our beneficiaries.
You will be acknowledged as a senior Family Fund representative across the disability sector, deputising for the Group CEO, or Directors on committees and at events as required.
Finally, you will build effective partnerships and proactively develop activities with key organisations across public, private and third sectors.

- Ensuring that Family Fund’s profile remains high amongst key organisations.
- Promoting the support offered by Family Fund to support demand generation, including targeted work in relation to our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion objectives.

- Engage in sector working groups and consortia to help secure improved support for families raising disabled children.

For this role you will need to have experience of presenting to external stakeholders and representing an organisation in a professional capacity. You’ll also need experience of managing budgets and delivering projects.
To be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated and be able to engage positively with different teams. You must be flexible, adaptable and resilient to work demands and change. This post is home based with regular travel.

- A minimum of two years of experience in trust fundraising

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders at all levels

About the role:
As an IDVA you will be:
- Providing a pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic violence and abuse through on-going risk assessment, individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
- Working with victims of domestic abuse to assist them in accessing services to keep them and their family safe.
- Developing individual safety plans to meet client's needs as identified in the needs and risk assessment.

- Supporting the empowerment of the client and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their situation.

ROLE PURPOSE
The Programme Support Officer (full-time, fixed-term contract for 18 months, with possibility to extend) will join the expanding Sector Improvement Team. They will provide vital logistical, financial and administrative support and coordination required to successfully run and deliver the University Mental Health Charter Programme and Award, achieve the Sector Improvement Team’s key objectives, and contribute to the whole charity’s mission and goals. This is an exciting opportunity to help the team scale the University Mental Health Charter, with the potential to impact 2.5 million staff and students across the UK.
From booking travel and accommodation, holding responsibility for the planning and administration of the Purchase Order sheets, to liaising with the many stakeholders involved in the assessment and programme processes, you will have an opportunity to be involved in an interesting, fast paced and exciting role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Logistical support
- Provide effective logistical and administrative support to the Sector Improvement Programme(s), working closely with the Sector Improvement Lead and Programme Managers to ensure the successful delivery of the programmes
- Support the the planning and delivery of key Sector Improvement Programme activities including online and in-person events, handling the administrative and logistical tasks e.g. venue booking and travel arrangements
- Support the Charter Award Process by managing logistics for assessors during Award site visits and handling related bookings
- Use of our Project Management tools to set and receive work, manage deadlines and workflows alongside colleagues to complete projects and Programmes in a timely manner, ensuring high quality of work
Financial support
- Assist in onboarding the University Mental Health Charter Programme by managing administrative tasks such as purchase orders and processing documents (e.g. MOUs, new supplier forms etc.) and outstanding payments
- Administer finances for our Sector Improvement programmes; issuing purchase orders and ensuring timely payments
- Work with finance colleagues to ensure correct processes and procedures are followed accurately and compliant with finance requirements, and identify areas for process improvement
- Act as a cardholder for the team, making online purchases such as accommodation and travel bookings and following policies, procedures and guidance in the correct and responsible use of the Student Minds card
Data and process administration
- Administer data processes for the University Mental Health Charter Programme and Award process, in line with Data Protection Guidelines
- Collate and analyse evaluation data from Sector Improvement events (online and in person), generating timely reports and make recommendations for programme improvement
- Create essential documents requested by the Sector Improvement Programme team to support programme delivery and scalability
- Provide support to the Sector Improvement Team and Award Managers to enable efficient Award Assessment accreditation processes
- Maintain key working relationships with our network of Assessors and University Award Leads, addressing queries, scheduling and minuting award panels, sharing actions with the team
Working together
- Work closely with the Programme Liaison Officer to successfully deliver all aspects of the role, including managing university relationships, ensuring tasks are picked between roles and when required
- Attend programme-related meetings, and maintain communications with programme participants and key stakeholders through maintaining and use of up-to-date database(s)
- Actively participate in the testing and embedding of new digital systems to improve programme efficiency and engagement
- Stay updated on developments in Higher Education and gather insights from sector partners to feed into team decisions
- Look for opportunities to develop systems and processes to improve ways of working and participate in discussions on the Sector Improvement Team development and improvement
Other duties

About the role:
This role is based at Accrington working in a multi agency team at Lancashire House. This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. As a MARRAC Team Leader you will:

Snow Camp is a ground-breaking national youth charity, and we are looking to recruit a fantastic new North West Wellbeing Manager and Programme Support to join our North West team on a 4 day a week contract (30 hrs).
Our accredited programmes are unique and attractive to young people, taking them from beginner to qualified snowsports instructors in just one year with volunteering and apprenticeship progression routes available at the end. Alongside learning to ski or snowboard, young people also have access to wellbeing support with the emphasis on improving young people’s mental health and wellbeing.
You will report to the North West Programme Manager & Head of Snowsports and will be responsible for the delivery of our wellbeing workshops and providing 1to1 wellbeing support sessions to young people. You will also work as part of the North West team to assist with the planning and delivery of snowsports and life-skills focused youth activities run by the Programme Manager and assist with the apprenticeship programme throughout each year.
Experience of working successfully with under-served young people in a range of settings, with a focus on supporting young people’s wellbeing will be essential to the post. Passion for snowsports and supporting young people generally will be a huge advantage!
Youth work, wellbeing support experience, project management, logistical skills, managing relationships, communication and presentation skills will make up the role. Along with experience of delivering group workshops to help young people work towards meaningful goals to improve their emotional wellbeing.
Job Description
- You will spend roughly 2.5 days will be in the Wellbeing Manager role and 1.5 days will be in the Programme Support role each week.
- In consultation with the Programme Manager, to manage the delivery of the Wellbeing Workshops and 1to1 mentoring support needed for young people and apprentices.
- Work with the programme manager to gain the young people’s trust and confidence.
- To assist with delivery and development of The North West’s full snowsports focused journey of youth programmes which take place at Chill Factore.
- Build a good relationship with the North West Programme Manager to help provide support and guidance to young people.
- Support with the management of (currently) 3 x North West apprentices on their 1-year Snow Camp Apprenticeship programme. particularly helping to manage their wellbeing and signpost to other services where needed.

About the Role:
This role is home-based with regular travel throughout the region. The Thames Valley Adult Victims Service will provide emotional and practical support to adult victims of any crime. Support will be delivered in an innovative manner primarily through specialist group work provision - alongside online and telephone caseworker support.
As the Operations Manager for the new Thames Valley Adults Victim Service you will be responsible for the implementation, development and the ongoing delivery of a high performing service through excellent operational management and supervision of people and resources.
You will ensure the team delivers individual, tailored support for adult victims of any crime primarily through group and peer support with the option of individual casework support where this is appropriate for the victim.
You will work closely and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley, Thames Valley Police, criminal justice agencies as well as other statutory agencies and third sector organisations across the Thames Valley.
You will be the nominated deputy for the Area Manager covering Thames Valley and this will include assisting the Area Manager in monthly/quarterly reporting and attending monitoring meetings with the PCC office.
Your will provide direct line management to the Victim Awareness Officer who will play a key role in planning & delivering training and raising awareness of activities. You will support them in the recruitment & development of an active cohort of volunteers performing the roles of Criminal Justice and Engagement Champions.
As part of your role you will ensure victim voices and experiences are listened and responded to in and beyond the criminal justice system.

First Give was founded in 2014 to inspire, equip and motivate young people to make a difference to the causes they care about. As we approach our second decade, it is an exciting time to join the charity. Our vision is of a more generous society where all people are willing and able to give their time, money and skills to causes that they care about.
We are currently developing a new strategy which by which we aim to have reached a million young people by 2034. We intend to do this by developing new programmes and activities that will support us to achieve our mission: to create opportunities for young people to be inspired and empowered to give their time, money or skills to charities and causes that matter to them. Our existing programmes are delivered in partnership with schools across England and Wales, ensuring that as many young people as possible, regardless of their background have the opportunity to take part.
As second most senior leader in the charity, the Deputy Director will provide leadership to the First Give team and support the Board of Trustees and Director with strategy and governance.
The Deputy Director will play an integral role in the development of the charity as we move into our second decade. They will spearhead our fundraising, communications and marketing to ensure the charity has the capacity to deliver against our strategic goals.

Location
Remote/hybrid. We welcome applications from across England and Wales, however desk space is available at our London office in West Hampstead should the successful candidate be based in London.
Regular travel to London (approximately once a month) and occasional travel across England and Wales will be required.

Key responsibilities
Organisational Leadership and line management

Deputise for the Director when necessary

Support organisation-wide improvements and innovation, including strategic planning and organisational structure

Develop connections and networks that increase the profile and opportunities for the charity

Work with the Director and Head of Programmes to create opportunities for young people to influence and engage with our work and impact

Line management of our Administrator
Fundraising

Work with the Director and consultants to own and implement a robust fundraising strategy to support the organisation as it executes its new strategic plan

Develop processes for managing fundraising applications and stewardship of existing funders and supporters
-
Write and submit high quality, inspiring and tailored funding applications and reports for trusts and foundations (expected to be in the region of £10,000-150,000)

Identify and develop potential new funding opportunities for First Give, including major donors and corporate funders

Manage relationships with a set number of key funders, ensuring that we proactively seek feedback, engagement and involvement in our work
New School Partner Recruitment

Oversee and co-ordinate all new school partner recruitment sales and marketing activity

Work with our marketing agency to develop and implement marketing campaigns

Support the Programmes Team to recruit new partner schools in priority regions
-
Proactively seek opportunities for growth of the First Give partners network

Develop and design and production of marketing and sales resources to support all sales activity

You may also be required to deliver sales meetings with networks including Headteacher meetings and attend conferences to promote the work of the charity
Communications

Lead the development and manage the delivery of our communications strategy, including all messaging to key stakeholders via a range of appropriate channels, including newsletters, social media and our website

Be responsible for the First Give website, ensuring it is up to date, relevant and meets the needs of the organisation

Brand champion, ensuring that all external communications and resources are aligned with our brand identity and tone of voice

Management of retainer with external design agency

Person Specification
Essential

Passionate about young people and their potential to drive social change

Leadership experience, ideally in a charity of similar complexity and scale

Ability to triage between the strategic and operational with ease and confidence

Demonstrable success as a fundraiser, particularly bid-writing, reporting and funder stewardship

Experience of developing and implementing a communications strategy

Experience of creating a range of content for different audiences and channels including marketing materials, newsletters, blogs, social media content etc…

Experience developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies, preferably in the education sector

Experience of writing and managing budgets, delivering plans using resources available

Track record of stakeholder management at senior levels

Experience of working in or with teachers and schools

Excellent presentation skills, with an ability to deliver concise, engaging and persuasive presentations
