Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London.  All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment. This role will be working across two teams who work with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment.

We are recruiting an Administrator for a new primary care Individual Placement and Support (IPS) employment service in the London Borough of Enfield. 

The Administrator will play a key role in the teams, supporting the team of employment workers as well as working alongside the Team Leads to ensure that records are kept up to date and data is easily accessible for reporting.

Experience of working in an employment team is not essential but you must be highly organised, have a problem-solving attitude and be willing to work with the other teams’ Administrators to develop joint systems and processes.

Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to at least intermediate level knowledge and skills of office software including Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Bi. The successful candidate will need be able to communicate with a wide range of people.

About the role

As a Housing First Coach you will deliver high quality person-centred support, using psychologically and trauma informed approaches, in line with Housing First principles. You will take a bold approach to establishing open and trusting relationships with people who have had long histories of homelessness or in temporary/insecure accommodation, enabling them to access and sustain accommodation and empower them to exercise choice and control over their lives. The team is multi-disciplinary – Coaches, Peer Support Worker, Clinical Psychologist – which allows us to collaboratively formulate innovative approaches to support. The team operates across London, providing numerous opportunities to build impactful partnerships and contribute towards systems change. 

About you

· To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter, flexible and have experience of working collaboratively as part of a team and with internal and external partners. 

· You may have a background in housing/homelessness support, adult safeguarding, drug or alcohol recovery services or mental health and have significant experience of working within a multidisciplinary setting with the ability to create strong professional relationships and creative solutions. 

· You will have experience of working with people who have faced severe and multiple exclusion and who may be considered to have ‘complex needs’, with an understanding of the needs of people who have been homeless for long periods of time.

· You will be willing and able to provide practical assistance with moving into and maintaining a home – including direct help where necessary with tasks such as shopping, budgeting, cooking, and cleaning. 

· You will also have a knowledge of Housing First and housing led approaches and the ability to work within a psychologically informed approach.

You will play a key role in supporting our residents who have left prison and are based within a residential setting to reintegrate into the community. You will develop and engage with our residents to produce tailored support plans which support their individual needs in successful rehabilitation and reintegration within the community. You will identify their needs, goals and skills, and then support and motivate them to achieve their potential. You will support them in engaging with activities, the community, and provide useful tools and resources for better life skills management. The service holds a strong focus on public protection and effective risk management.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times
• Engaging with residents, ensuring they are adhering to their license conditions. This may include planning activities to engage them with other people, communities, and opportunities
• Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for night colleagues for a seamless service

We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to be our named competent person for statutory compliance; covering health & safety, fire, water hygiene, electrical safety and environmental standards. We are looking for an experienced and resourceful Clinical Services Manager (Intake and Allocation), this role will be responsible for leading and coordinating the intake and allocation of clients to appropriate ongoing therapists. The Deputy Contract Manager is responsible for the operational management of our specialist customer focused support services across the service. Working in partnership with stakeholders, external agencies and our Commissioning Team, you lead your Team to offer high quality support to customers to maintain their tenancies and empower people to live their best lives and move to independence. Responsible for Safeguarding our customers, you will promote sector best practice and legislative compliance to keep our customers safe within their environment.

The role provides direct line management, leadership, coaching and support to Support Workers, Specialist Support Workers and Night Support Workers, ensuring compliance with current legislation, contractual requirements financial regulations and Look Ahead Policy and Procedures.

This role deputises for the Service Manager and/or Area Service Manager when required.

The shift pattern for this role involves Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, with 1 Sunday per month.

What you'll bring:

Essential:

Minimum 3 years' experience of supporting vulnerable adults
GCSEs in English and Maths (grade A-C)
Health and Social Care qualification
Knowledge of Safeguarding and Mental Capacity processes
Experience of leading and managing a team
Possess excellent leadership skills with a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to demonstrate positive personal authority and maintain proactive working relationships
Ability to create and maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders
Demonstrable verbal and written communication skills

We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Group and Family Support Facilitator to lead our therapeutic group sessions and support families. 

You will: 

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of group sessions for children with SEND 

• Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment 

• Support families with emotional and practical guidance 

• Liaise closely with therapists and specialist workers 

• Build relationships with families, ensuring a holistic support approach 

• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the ongoing development of services 

This is a dynamic role requiring a strong balance of leadership, child-focused practice, and family advocacy. 

Skills and Experience Required: 

We are looking for someone with a Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years Education, Social Care, or Health, with experience supporting children with SEND and their families. You will have strong communication, organisational, and IT skills (including Office 365 and MS Teams), and be confident leading a team in a multi-disciplinary setting. A solid understanding of child development and safeguarding is essential, along with the flexibility to work across multiple sites. Ideally, you will also have experience in outreach or family support work, knowledge of local services, training in Paediatric First Aid or Health & Safety, and familiarity with communication tools like Makaton. Experience supporting siblings of children with SEND is also desirable.

As our Health, Safety and Facilities Manager you will provide efficient facilities management and Health & Safety services to and for Friends of the Earth’s offices, workspaces, staff and volunteers. 

We are looking for someone with experience of a broad range of facilities management across multiple sites and the ability to communicate effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds and with different needs.

Entry level Health and Safety qualification or working towards this is essential along with up-to-date knowledge of current legislation and experience of carrying out assessments. 

Key Skills and Attributes:  

• Practical experience of a broad range of facilities work, including Hard and Soft Facilities matters across multiple sites. 

• Management of third parties’ contractors hired to complete facilities tasks, using method statements, risk assessments and a permit to work scheme. 

• Proven experience of improving supplier value through contract review, market research and contract negotiation 

• Entry level Health and Safety qualification (IOSH Managing Safely Certificate or similar) and working towards NEBOSH qualification, with up-to-date knowledge of current legislation and experience of carrying out Risk Assessments, DSE Assessments, etc. 

• Experience of communicating effectively and building strong relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds and with different needs, both individually and in groups, and working with sometimes challenging clients. 

• Ability to safely perform equipment installation/elementary repair work and manage/assist in the movement of office apparatus. 

• Lead and manage projects and provide training to staff within a facilities context. 

Special working conditions  

• This role is a key holder for our offices, and the holder must be prepared to be on call in the event of an emergency. 

• There will be the occasional need for travel within the UK, with the requirement to stay away from home overnight on occasions. 

The team:  

Working closely with and managing the Facilities Assistant, you will ensure Friends of the Earth meets the required Health and Safety standards. You will be part of our vital Infrastructure team, sitting within the Finance and Operations Directorate.

The Infrastructure team is responsible for the physical and virtual platform we use to do our work, from physical premises to our network, servers and Service Desk for support issues.
