This role will include supporting birth relatives to meet with adoptive parents and to help birth relatives understand the importance for children, to keep connected to their relatives and significant people from their past.
Ideally, you will have previous experience of working with birth relatives whose children have been placed for adoption and you will have a good understanding of the adoption process. You will work with relatives from a range of diverse backgrounds, lived experiences and those who may be neuro diverse and you will need to demonstrate understanding, respectfulness and adaptability to your social work practice.

Carolyn House Service provides housing and support to individuals experiencing mental health issues for up to two years. We promote social inclusion and develop life skills for independent living. The service is staffed 24 hours 7 days a week. All customers referred to the Service are allocated a support worker who will provide guidance and support on a range of issues and help signpost customers to relevant services located in the Redbridge Borough.
The Post holder will be expected to work on a rota basis (Monday - Sunday) and two sleep-ins per week which attracts £30.00 extra pay.The shift patterns are 8.00 am - 4.00pm, 2.00 pm - 10.00 pm and sleep ins.

About the role:
You will be support victims of ASB, working with a multitude of partners across all local authority areas to ensure their expectations of services are clear and their personal needs are met. You will work with both adults and young people & work closely with partners. Ultimately, you will help them cope, recover and move forward from their experiences.
You will provide high quality support to all victims of Anti-Social Behaviour managing a caseload and offering support over the telephone and in person, including home visits. You will assess the victims needs and provide emotional support, advocacy and practical help.
You will also mentor and be responsible for volunteers who will assist you with your caseload and support lower risk victims.

The Role
Reporting to the Stroke Association Service Delivery Coach, the coordinator will work with the local Health and Social Care services to receive referrals and support stroke survivors and their carers. As a coordinator you will provide personalised information, advice and support with regular reviews throughout.
Key responsibilities will include:

About the role:
You will lead and support a team of Homicide Family Caseworkers to meet VS and Homicide Service standards and contractual requirements. You will be able to demonstrate the excellent organisational skills essential to managing a demanding and diverse workload and will have experience of achieving key performance indicators, as set by the Operation managers and Deputy Head of Service.
We pride ourselves on providing exceptional trauma informed advocacy and support to all service users and you will have an understanding of the impact that trauma and bereavement can have on individuals. We support staff to keep them safe within their role and you will lead on the importance of personal and professional resilience and wellbeing for the team.
You will have excellent communication skills and will support the Operation Managers to maintain the highest standards of service delivery, across a widely geographically dispersed team. You will be prepared to travel across the geographical area including occasional overnight stays to ensure you can meet team members in person as well as online. A driving license and use of a car are both essential as well as access to public transport. You will be reimbursed for all travel costs.
You will also enjoy working closely with a range of stakeholders (including Police Family Liaison Officers and Senior Investigation Officers within the Major Crime teams) and will have experience in building constructive working relationships, focused on delivering the best service for vulnerable service users. You should be a confident presenter, and able to share the service and work we do to inform, educate and encourage notifications and referrals into the service.

Employed contract
- Hours: 21 per week
- Salary/contract rate : £38,000 FTE
- Location: Ideally within easy reach of Chelmsford. Hybrid/homeworking

- Annual leave: 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (FTE)

- Reporting to: CEO (and then likely change to Head of Programmes, once recruited)

About the Role
The Country Trust Impact and Learning Lead is a flexible and fulfilling opportunity in our growing, energetic charity. You'll ensure evaluation and learning are embedded throughout the organisation, setting the standard for measuring and articulating our difference. As a versatile senior leader, you'll shape our strategic direction by championing our Theory of Change and embedding impact across our activities from the start.
Starting from a strong position with our existing evaluation framework, you'll nurture a culture of evidence-based improvement across programmes such as our Farm Discovery and Countryside Discovery Residential programmes, in all reaching over 70,000 children annually.
About You
- You are a team player, skilled in designing evaluation and learning activities ensuring all voices are heard.
- Experienced in commissioning and/or managing external research or evaluation partners.
- With strengths in quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis and storytelling, you'll create compelling reports that drive decision-making.
- You are an excellent communicator engaging diverse stakeholders, and an inspiring presenter and writer advocating our cause.
- You are a curious, creative thinker piloting innovative ways to gather and visualise data. While no deep academic research knowledge is required, you'll have an appreciation of different methods, tools and approaches.
- You can balance priorities and get hands-on.
- You are skilled at designing and delivering training.
- You understand the realities facing disadvantaged children and are committed to creating quality opportunities through our work
- You have strong IT skills.
- You have firsthand experience working with or within primary education.
- You ideally have experience in the charity sector and a passion for food, farming and the countryside is desirable.
