About the role:

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations, the IT Project Manager will lead the scoping, researching, sourcing, design develop and implementation of several new systems relating to CRM, Case Management, Finance and HR.

The IT project manager will also support the Director of Finance & Operations in managing the relationship with the IT Support contract, providing IT support where necessary and in renewing the IASME (Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises) accreditation.

You will have previous experience in IT change management with significant experience of overseeing implementation projects, allowing you to hit the ground running. You will have an excellent understanding of computer systems, security and databases to allow you to ensure

an excellent and reliable IT service is provided to all staff on and off site. You will have strong Project, Stakeholder & Programme management skills and significant experience of delivering major business critical projects including the desired benefits and outcome to time, cost and quality, including the management and maintenance of standard project controls and documents.

You will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience and 

A PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or other industry standard Programme or Project Management qualification. A good knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies, 365 admin level experience across Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online etc. is essential for the role. Your experience will include supporting network devices and concepts, printers, softphones and other business hardware and software.

The service provides 24hr supported accommodation for adults with complex needs within the Lambeth Vulnerable Adults Pathway. We support 18 people, in individual studio flats, offering a unique self-contained environment.

The people we support may benefit from a supported transition towards increased independence, or have been unable to thrive within a traditional communal hostel.

Move-on is a key focus and the team work very closely with the Lambeth pathway manager to identify and secure appropriate options for clients.

About you

In this role you will work alongside the manager, a psychologist and lead workers. You will play a major, creative role in maintaining and furthering a safe Psychologically Informed Environment. We support women and men with complex needs, including challenges with substance use, mental and physical health.

You will line manage three Lead Workers, providing support through structured supervisions. You will play a major part in creating a safe environment for residents who have experienced homelessness to thrive in, where people are able to build their confidence and pursue new opportunities.

We are currently recruiting support workers who will be able to work on a shift pattern that will include a rolling rota with a combination of days, evenings, sleep in nights and weekends including public holidays. The role can be part time or full time. Support Workers will have to be flexible re shifts. We are currently recruiting support workers who will work on a rota in our supported accommodation for young people aged 16-19 who are primarily refugees and asylum seekers and in the care of the local authority. These young people are preparing to live independently and we offer practical and emotional support to them.

The role requires you to record support to prepare reports, for the commissioning authority using IT as required. Familiarity with Googles docs and sheets is required.

The role of the support worker is to help young people to develop their independent living skills. This can involve being out and about with the young people – going shopping, attending interviews and appointments, support to attend college, helping them to know the area and its resources and, in the home, helping them to cook, clean and develop self-care skills. The evening / night shift is focussed more on tasks that can be completed in the placements or in groups such as cooking, cleaning, support with homework, film nights, recreational activities. Some creativity is encouraged to engage and inspire the young people.

 Alongside this you will have some responsibility for light household tasks to keep the house tidy and organised as well as undertaking health and safety checks. The time in the morning will be spent ensuring that the young people who need to be up and out are ready to attend college.

Some experience of working with young people, night working and lone working will be a big advantage.

Duties and key responsibilities

Community fundraising

• Manage and develop regional fundraising by devising a regional community fundraising strategy for income generation.
• Design and develop Sarcoma UK's calendar of annual community fundraising campaigns and events communication, including Cuppa and Cake.
• Introduce fundraising opportunities to our existing and potential supporters through a multi-channelled marketing strategy to grow levels of engagement and participation.
• Identify opportunities and recruit new community fundraisers, fundraising groups, corporate and school partners.
• Work with the Fundraising team to produce regular feedback reports and analysis on specific community products and overall revenue.
• Lead on promotion of community fundraising through digital marketing, PR, speaking engagements and on the ground fundraising.

Management

• Provide line management and day-to-day support to the Regional Fundraising Officer North, building their fundraising knowledge.
• Develop, manage, and monitor budgets for your areas of responsibility.

Income Generation

• Implement agreed KPIs, objectives and budget for the Regional Fundraising Team to drive support and engagement.
• Identify fundraising products, key accounts, and projects that will support income growth both locally and nationally.
• Responsible for monitoring and managing all income streams across all community fundraising lines including Gift Aid and working closely with the Operations Team.

Processes, administration, and reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date supporter records on Sarcoma UK’s database (Raiser’s Edge).
• Ensure all recording, and stewardship processes are up to date and working across the fundraising team, wider charity and in accordance with current laws and regulations.
• Ensure necessary Community Fundraising policies are up to date.
• Follow Sarcoma UK’s processes and procedures including risk assessments to ensure a consistent approach and maintain a high level of support expected by our donors and fundraisers.
• Ensure that all activities are compliant with legislation governing fundraising including GDPR, health and safety, Institute of Fundraising, and the Fundraising Regulator Code of Conduct.

Wider fundraising

• Support company and corporate partnerships that utilise community and trade fundraising.
• Support third party fundraising and challenge event portfolio.
• Work with the Events Manager to develop merchandise and trade income opportunities.
• Support with managing merchandise supplier relationships and internal and external stock levels.

General

• The role requires some travel to events and meetings throughout the UK. Some weekend or evening work will also be required and time off in lieu will be given. Travel expenses will be reimbursed (exc. Travel to the Sarcoma UK office).
• Stay up to date with the latest knowledge in fundraising and ensure Sarcoma UK’s processes and procedures follow best practice.
• The post holder will be working in a developing environment, and they will therefore be required to undertake other appropriate duties as necessary for the efficient operation of Sarcoma UK.

Are you looking for a senior marketing manage role, where you can help implement an exciting new fundraising strategy?  

We are looking for Senior Supporter Acquisition Manager to join our Fundraising directorate and lead a brilliant team to develop and implement a range of supporter acquisition marketing programmes and to achieve the growth ambitions of our Fundraising strategy.

The Supporter Acquisition team is responsible for all marketing to attract new supporters across a large portfolio of appeals/products and media.  We are looking for someone to join us who has significant expertise with a wide range of marketing channels and can really add value to large well-established programmes with their experience, knowledge and drive to continually improve, identify appropriate new opportunities and shape supporter acquisition programmes.

The role involves managing an experienced team of two managers and a co-ordinator, and leading relationships with a number of suppliers.  The marketing programmes currently include face-to-face fundraising (from stands in retail space or at expos/outdoor events), DRTV and other forms of advertising, print – door drops/partially addressed mail/inserts and payroll giving.  An important part of the role is developing advertising for the nation’s largest charity appeal, the Poppy Appeal each November.

As an experienced senior marketing manager, you will hit the ground running to optimally deliver plans with your team and whilst helping to shape programme strategies and review supply requirements.  You will need experience of managing and coaching teams and working in a truly collaborative way with colleagues, teams and suppliers, leading by example in accordance with RBL’s values.

You won’t shy away from complexity and getting to grips with the details of the broad array of appeals/products your team will be marketing and associated systems, budgeting, reporting and KPI measurements for each of them.  You’ll strive for excellence, ensuring campaigns are compelling and effective and will be able to capably resolve issues at a senior level and take on new challenges.

As Brand Manager, you will work across the organisation to manage daily requests for support and approvals on copy and design work that require constant action and collaboration both with teams right across the organisation and with external agency partners to ensure we are delivering a coherent, focused and integrated brand to our audiences. You will work closely with the Campaign Manager to build and track brand performance metrics including awareness, reach, logo recognition and sentiment and provide input and support for other projects/initiatives as required across the charity.

• Significant experience in a brand strategy and activation role
• Experience of briefing and management of creatives both in-house and external agencies
• Experience of working and collaborating closely with multiple teams across a large organisation with competing needs
• A solid working knowledge of brand marketing and advertising practices and methods
• Able to manage a heavy and fluctuating workload
• Good understanding of campaign metrics and reporting
• Charity experience is preferred

As Partner Engagement Manager you will promote and develop the work of Family Fund in its reach to families. You’ll also contribute to its profile within the disability sector in Wales and with key Government/political stakeholders.

You will proactively work with a wide range of public, private and third sector organisations. Your goal will be to ensure Family Fund’s strategy is understood, and that mutually beneficial relationships are formed. In addition, you will seek out opportunities which allow Family Fund to achieve its key priorities, deliver added value for funders, and secure positive outcomes for our beneficiaries.

You will be acknowledged as a senior Family Fund representative across the disability sector, deputising for the Group CEO, or Directors on committees and at events as required.

Finally, you will build effective partnerships and proactively develop activities with key organisations across public, private and third sectors.

Katherine Low Settlement is a charity that has been serving Battersea and the wider Wandsworth community since 1924. We are dedicated to building stronger communities and enable people to challenge and find ways out of poverty and isolation.

We run a range of our own community projects to tackle poverty and isolation, and empower and support children, young people and their families, older people, women and refugee communities. Katherine Low Settlement’s work with older people

Katherine Low Settlement has worked with older people since its conception in 1924.They are a core part of the community that we continue to work with. We provide, often in partnership, a range of projects and activities for older people including health and wellbeing; creative arts; intergenerational work; connecting people and trips/outings. Our services include an Older People's Lunch Club, Contact Club, T’ai Chi for Elders, exercise and social sessions, and support online.

We work with older people to:

• Encourage active and independent living

• Reduce isolation and loneliness

• Improve well-being and prevent ill-health

• Enable older residents to be dynamic and contributing members of the Wandsworth community.

Key Objectives for the Elders Core Service Manager Role:

1. Team Leadership: Lead a team of dedicated part-time paid staff and volunteers, including a cook, support worker, minibus driver, and sessional workers.
2. Day-to-Day Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Elders Core Service, including the lunch club, transport, social sessions, and overseeing the one-to-one work of the core team.
3. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the wider team to provide a hands-on program that builds on older people's strengths and potential.
4. Monitoring and Evaluation: Support the monitoring and evaluation of the project in collaboration with the Head of Programme.
5. Budget Management: Ensure the program operates within budget constraints.
6. Member Engagement: Support the planning of the core program with input from elder members and the wider team.
7. Recruitment and Support: Recruit and support new and existing members (service users).

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Delivery

• Planning and Oversight: Ensure that all service output aligns with KLS' vision, mission, values, and charitable objectives. Organize and promote one-off activities throughout the year.
• Transport Management: Manage the transport offer, including route planning and pick-up schedules.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate activity records, registers, and casework notes for the core team.
• Outreach and Support: Conduct outreach work with older people in the community, oversee home visits, and manage a small caseload.

2. Staff and Volunteer Management

• Recruitment and Line Management: Recruit and manage the Outreach and Support Workers, Lunch Club Cook, and relevant social activities workers and volunteers.
• Performance Management: Use performance management and quality systems to monitor and evaluate the project's work and processes.

3. Relationships, Communication, and Networks

• Member Engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with elder members.
• Communication: Oversee communication for the Core Programme, including newsletters, activities calendar, annual reports, and social media platforms.
• Meetings: Attend meetings on behalf of the Core Programme as required.

4. Finance

• Budget Management: Manage project areas to budget and maintain financial records as agreed with the Head of Programme.

5. Other Duties

• Professional Development: Participate in regular management supervision and annual appraisal. Identify job-related development and training needs.
• Professional Conduct: Professionally undertake roles, maintaining a high-quality standard of work in line with KLS's aims, values, and ethos.
