The independent safeguarding chair role will be to:
- Help prepare our Safeguarding Panel meeting agendas.
- Chair these meetings.
- Provide effective scrutiny of SeeAbility’s safeguarding performance.

- Constructively challenge those responsible for maximising performance.
- Help shape SeeAbility’s safeguarding implementation plan.

Your experience & personal characteristics
You will have experience of leading and managing others in senior positions and of chairing complex meetings productively.
You will have up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding adults legislation and best practice and extensive experience or safeguarding in the public and/or voluntary sector.

The purpose of the role
The People Team provide advice, guidance and support to all National Theatre staff, line managers and senior leaders on people policies; terms and conditions of employment; recruitment and selection; performance management; staff engagement; diversity and inclusion; trade union and employee relations; discipline, grievance, and capability processes; and training and career development. The role of an IDVA is to address the safety of victims and survivors at high risk of harm at point of referral into the refuge.
IDVAs work with their customers within the refuge from the point of crisis by safety planning and risk assessing using the DASH to ascertain the level of risk to the victim.
The post holder will be required to work alongside refuge staff to support customers with complex needs who have been referred into the refuge.

This is a great opportunity to manage an exciting audit programme using new methodologies to support Early Intervention in Psychosis services.
Within the College Centre for Quality Improvement, we run an exciting programme of NHS-funded national clinical audits, including the National Clinical Audit of Psychosis, which provides important data that is driving forward improvements in care for people with first episode psychosis. We are seeking a dynamic and proactive person for the Programme Manager (maternity cover) post.
The successful candidate will have experience in project management and quality improvement in healthcare and/or clinical audit and will have a keen interest in data analytics. They will show attention to detail and have excellent organisational, report writing and communication skills. Responsibilities will include managing a complex programme of work, liaising with funders and expert advisors, supervising the project team, developing and delivering of project plans, and managing all aspects of the project, e.g. developing data collection tools and collecting and analysing data.

Who are we?
Myaware is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to the care and support of people affected by myasthenia.
We are working hard to raise awareness, as it is a little-unknown condition. We provide support for people with myasthenia and their families, whilst offering advice and tips for living with the illness.
We also fund the research that brings us closer to finding a cure as well as funding specialists nurses and advisors.
Members of myaware have full access to a wide range of support services and events including access to specialist welfare and benefits advice.
Myaware supports people with myasthenia and their families. We campaign for better medical services for people with myasthenia and work to inform medical professionals.
The myasthenia’s are a group of neuromuscular conditions. They are rare but also manageable and can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or nationality. Myasthenia gravis, ocular myasthenia, and Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome are autoimmune conditions whereas congenital myasthenic syndrome is caused by an inherited genetic fault. It is thought that there are approximately 20,000 people currently living with myasthenia in the UK.

Role Summary
You will work closely with The Governance and Team Lead to ensure smooth and effective running of our finance and HR processes. You will work with the wider team supporting their effective delivery of training and projects as well as provide day to day support. This is a mixed and self-directed role with opportunity to contribute to a range of work and projects. - Issue invoices and monitor and pursue unpaid invoices
- Manage and administer monthly procedures linked to payroll

General
- Be a point of contact and support team members
- Support to project team including monitoring emails and responding to enquiries
