Parents And Children Together have an exciting new opportunity for a Corporate and Major Donor Fundraiser to help us drive our ambitions forward.

What we do

PACT is a leading independent adoption charity in the UK, placing children with secure and loving families and supporting them with specialist therapeutic support. Our most recent Ofsted inspection rated our adoption service as “Outstanding”.

We are a well-established charity based in the Thames Valley with an office in Reading and second office in London. Our beneficiaries make up the wider PACT family and are supported through several community projects for children and adults facing multiple disadvantages including domestic abuse, homelessness, debt and victims or perpetrators of crime. Our current community projects include the Alana House women’s community programme and Bounce Back 4 Kids, a therapeutic domestic abuse recovery programme for families.

How you could add value

This new role within our Business Development team will work closely with our Fundraising and Business Development Manager, and others across PACT, to achieve the fundraising targets associated with our business plan, objectives and values.  You will play a significant role in generating income, networks and relationships for PACT by increasing the profile of PACT to be a partner of choice. This role will develop and implement transformational partnerships for the charity.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful corporate and/or major donor fundraising marketing income and business development targets.  An excellent communicator, confident talking to and presenting and writing for a range of stakeholders.

If this is you and you want to make a real difference and join our inspirational team, please visit our website for more information, how to apply and the full job description.

Please submit your application form by 9am Monday 14 February 2022.

Interviews will take place on Tuesday 22 or Friday 25 February 2022.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Please do not submit your CV, only completed application forms will be accepted.  No agencies please.  We may close this advertisement earlier if we receive suitable applications in advance of our stated close date.

PACT is a supportive and respectful place where people are passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of women, children and families from many different backgrounds.  We continuously look to progress the ways in which we create families and bring people together and encourage applications from people across all communities.  We are committed to ensuring that our people and our services reflect the diversity of the communities we serve and applications from people from under-represented groups are particularly welcomed.

PACT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. Anyone joining our team is subject to PACT’s Safer Recruitment pre-appointment enquiries. These include the provision of documentation of the right to work in the UK, Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check, overseas police check where applicable and references covering a minimum 5 year period. All opportunities are based in the UK.
